Jakob actually split the fastest last 1k (2:23 or so) because he left himself so far back.
If that's right, it makes him a danger. He's got a race under his belt and not many in the field are capable of a 2:23 final km. Gold might be tough but there's medal potential there imo

By nature of making the final with either a 224 final k or a 225-6 final k in a much faster race, I suspect a dozen or more of the other 15 are in fact capable of a 223 in that situation
