"You want to take credit for the ridiculous resume Malmo posted" Dahl can take credit for his ridiculous resume because that is the resume that Dahl himself posted on this thread. I only reduced extraneous verbiage down to a readable summary of the facts in chronological order. I didn't change anything.
malmo-
What is gained in this thread from this back and forth? We know he says things that are controversial. People can judge for themselves whether they want to believe him..
he is not on trial and this is a free forum to post anything..he owes no one any explanation.
So leave him be.. Don't you think it's a waste of time to expect all of the things he says to be proven? Just leave him be.. he is who he is..
Its not controversial - because its easily proven the claims he makes about himself are untrue. There is no controversy except maybe in the poster's mind. Since it seems they won't ban him or can't ban him (as bans are ineffective), it might be best to just let him be. People will come to the conclusion that he posts a lot of gibberish on their own.

Greg, leave him be? Thats exactly what we want. The problem is that he has intruded on all of us by his misconduct. At times his relentless spam attacks have made the message board unreadable. And there's that little thing about violent threats. Thats a no go under any circumstances.
Greg, some of us actually care about his well-being.
There's no way to know what facts and evidence has been presented in the deleted posts. Malmo controls the narrative so it's worthless to conclude anything.
Show me a post where I said that. Also, the screenplay did reach the quarter finals of a contest. It has gained some momentum despite whatever you wish to believe.

how can you prove it is him spamming the board? I care about his well being too.

Very true. At the same time, I believe the site has a function where posts can be removed
on the basis of multiple reports - so it's not always him removing everything.
I added the post about the guy Barrett was involved in an incident with for context.
It was removed already once - so let's see if it stands this time. It's obviously relevent to this discussion.
Malmo's narrative is that Barrett tried to fight someone - I don't know enough about the incident to know exactly what happened. malmo should acknowledge the truths of the other person for fair discussion.

On a moderators only forum I was the ONLY mod to defend Dahl saying the he (the430miler) is weird but couldn't possibly be the "super-spammer". "Super-spammer" is the name I gave to the NICO YOUNG/DANNY HENDERSON/CHARLIE MAGUIRE/MAHABALI OCCULT spam attacks that have taken over.
Wejo explained to me exactly what's going on. As it turns out, super-spammer only happens when Dahl gets banned. Hundreds of posts per day that lasts until the exact moment his ban gets lifted. Have you ever read the content of any of his spam attacks, Greg? I'm sure you've read the NICO attacks. They make the real Dahl a despicable human being. Remember this, Dahl, by his own admission was permanently banned from two college campuses. Two is what he admitted to. You're hitching your wagon to the wrong horse.
As for you, Greg, like Dahl, you've accused ME of being one of those stalkers that harass you every day. I'm not. I'm trying to defend you but you're not making it easy. One thing I'd advise you is to stop it with your "I have this virtue/you don't" threads. All it does is antagonize your stalkers. When that happens your thread will get disappeared when it inevitably derails. I can only try to help you so much. There's nothing personal about it, you're not being singled out -- they are.

Greg, you're late to the party. It's already been established that Dahl did not travel to DC with the intent of fighting but he was there. The published reports were conflicting, but I would tend to support Dahl's version over Mendoza's. Mendoza thought he could intimidate Dahl because of Dahl's gangsta-injun persona. Both have had run-ins with the law. The only issue is who started the PHYSICAL altercation by spitting/striking the other? I think the legal system correctly adjudicated the matter by putting the case on ice.
So its settled that Dahl is the Nico spammer then. That's surprising. He came up with some pretty clever thread titles to get people to click. The content of course was something no one should have to read.

and my handle has nothing to do with this accusation, but is from the original topic of the thread (is Forest Gump the ultimate runner). If the mods have confirmed it, I believe it.

hey malmo,
why don't you give an honest review of the screenplay? I could email you an updated edited version. You think it's no good but that's not much of a critique. You should expand on your criticism for it to carry weight.
I am ok with you posting your critique of the screenplay in the forums.
I think it's a tremendous screenplay.
Also - I think it's appalling if the said poster is responsible for spamming the board saying nasty things about others - like NICO. Maybe he resorts to this behaviour because he is upset when banned and it's his way of lashing out.
I think he is a well intentioned person who may have struggles adapting to the world.
I start those virtue signalling threads for fun. You have to know in the back of your mind that I am trolling. Of course I don't take them too seriously.
And yes I did accuse you of being a stalker - but that was in the past. The stalking on this forum is so creepy that I had to consider the possibility it was a moderator.
Why don't you have those who work as writers critique your screenplay - post it to reddit. Malmo has a degree in biology and experience in running. I'm sure he could do an all right critique, but with the amount you worked on it to improve it any more, it should be serious writers who are making suggestions.

He doesn't have to critique it, but I think it would be interesting.
I have already paid for many pitches, edits, reviews. Here's on from earlier this year. They didn't even read the script. This is based on a 3 minute pitch video and 1 page synopsis:
Gregory is an offbeat dramedy with a unique protagonist and an unconventional character journey. The idea of a man who unexpectedly wins the Olympic marathon, immediately retires, and embarks on a self-discovery mission is a fresh, unexpected premise. The mix of existential searching, quirky humor, and character-driven storytelling makes this feel akin to indie TV comedies like Baskets, Atlanta, or Barry. However, the pitch is a bit scattered in its structure and could be refined for clarity and stronger impact. One of the most intriguing elements of the show is Greg’s peculiar personality and unorthodox life choices. His desire to help others but lack of clear direction feels like a modern take on the classic “wandering philosopher” archetype. The inclusion of Kristina, a singer and hairstylist with a phobia of rain, adds a strong secondary character with emotional depth. However, the overall arc of the pilot isn’t entirely clear—what is Greg’s initial problem, how does he attempt to solve it, and what obstacles does he face? While the synopsis outlines his Olympic success and subsequent identity crisis, the central conflict of the pilot episode needs to be more clearly defined. The tone of the show feels somewhat experimental—part absurdist comedy, part existential drama. The example of the job interview with the height requirement is humorous in a darkly satirical way, suggesting the show has moments of surrealism or social commentary. However, the pitch could benefit from a clearer statement of what kind of humor the show leans into—is it deadpan like Nathan for You, whimsical like Pushing Daisies, or socially observant like Curb Your Enthusiasm? From a **marketability standpoint, this show would be best suited for a streaming platform like FX, HBO, or Hulu, which have embraced genre-bending dramedies with unconventional protagonists. The fact that it was a quarterfinalist in a screenplay contest is a good sign, but the pitch needs to be tightened to ensure producers understand exactly what kind of story is being told. Thoughts for Improvement: 1.Clarify the core conflict. The pitch presents Greg’s post-Olympic existential crisis, but what is the show’s central driving force? What does Greg actually want in episode one, and what obstacles are preventing him from achieving it? 2.Refine the pitch structure. The synopsis is a bit meandering and doesn’t clearly establish what happens in the pilot episode. A more focused logline and summary would make the pitch feel sharper and more compelling. 3.Clarify the humor style. Is the show a surreal comedy, a philosophical character study, or a mix of dry humor and absurdity? Right now, it leans into all three, which might make it harder for producers to grasp the intended tone. 4.Define the long-term series arc. What does Greg’s “helping people” actually look like? Does each episode focus on a new character he tries to assist? Is it more about his own failures and missteps? Answering these questions will help clarify the series’ structure and sustainability. Gregory is a quirky, thought-provoking dramedy with a unique premise and a fascinating protagonist. However, the pitch needs to be tightened to better define the core conflict, long-term series arc, and humor style. With a more focused delivery and clearer sense of the show’s structure, this could be an engaging and distinct project in the indie TV space.
