They are mentally individuals who expect society to affirm their delusions...Democrats gladly play along...Republicans, who are more honest and acknowledge reality, do not.
Yes, the paragon of your party is famously known for his honesty and close, heart-to-heart relationship with reality.
Do you realize how retarded you sound?
He doesn’t sound as retarded as the freaks who think men can become women just because they feel like it. That is sick.
As an advocate for protection of girls in sport, you are proposing that all middle-school and high-school girls will be subject to a genital examination before participation in sports???
That is frankly absurd.
As a parent and a doctor, I propose that we stay with self-declaration which has worked well for decades. (And I certainly never had a genital exam to play school sports, by the way.)
If you actually played sports yourself, you would know that yes, a full physical is required for competition.I have had to get one for middle school, high school, and NCAA competition. The fact that you think this normal check up makes physicians pedophiles says more about you than anything else and I seriously doubt you are actually a doctor.
Finally, this is all a mute point anyway because this information can be gotten through simple cheek swabs.
1. I have "played sports" competitively (basketball, swimming, track) every year since I was eight. Probably at a higher level than you. I NEVER had a physical exam that involved my genitals for any of those teams until I was 16 years old. You are proposing "prove your gender" for girls even before they enter high school.
2. What is all this talk about pedophilia?? You have introduced that totally out of nowhere and I don't know what that says.
3. What I said is that children should not be made to have a genital exam with the results reported to the state. (I support minimal government intrusion into such things.)
4. You mean "moot point," you blathering illiterate.
5. You think the public school system is going to absorb the costs of millions of cheek swabs to test for XX chromosomes, all so that precious Jennifer doesn't have to high jump against a trans girl?? 🤡🤡🤡

Ah so now that the "it's not happening" line is invalid you pivot to "if you disagree you must be gay and/or a pedophile" How original.

...what? What did his message say that remotely implied anything about homosexuality and pedophilia?
Again, go read about Swyer Syndrome. Genotypically female, presents female, absolutely and totally ambiguous in reality. And that is one of 50+ genetic malfunctions that have been identified so far.
Very few, if anyone, in this thread is saying that it's perfectly fine and acceptable for an otherwise healthy and normal boy to put on a dress one day and dominate everyone. I'm certainly not. (I do think you are absolutely and massively overcounting how often it is that simple, but that's besides the point.) What many of us ARE saying though is that for all of your anger and self-righteousness, not only are you not proposing a remotely workable solution, you're also doing so from a place of rank ignorance.
It's wonderful to see so many high school girls standing up to this nonsense. Social pressure on females is orders of magnitude stronger than males. I find their bravery inspiring. A year ago, they would have been suspended, publicly humiliated, and doxxed.
For people who are tolerant of males in women's sporting events, I have two questions.
Do you want to abolish gendered sports in general, or do you support gender-divided sports?
Are there bounds to your tolerance? How many males in a womens sporting event would you be comfortable with? For example if half of a girls volleyball team were males, would that bother you at all? Would you even think it was important? How about all of them?
I'm trying to get my head around the way y'all see this.
Good point! I have been asking the same question on another thread. Where is the limit? What if the whole podium were trans girls? Would that be an issue?
Also, I would ask supporters of the trans athlete movement to do a thought experiment in reverse... Imagine if the two original sports divisions from 100 years ago were boys and trans-girls. If that is how it had always been, would you support a "new category" for biological females? Would feminists have a good point if they asked for biological females to have their own division?
Or in more real terms, because this is actually happening, if a road race offered prize money for the non-binary division and after a few years only non-binary biological males had ever won the money, could the non-binary females rightly demand equal prize money?

As a doctor with trans patients and who is knowledgeable on with the body of research on this topic, the main source of anxiety and depression for these patients is being forced into a gender or sexuality that doesn't reflect their own identity, their very experience of themselves.
Being trans is no more of a "delusion" than being gay. (Though maybe you are against that, too.)
I think the difference is that that homosexuality is sort of empirically testable - who do you find yourself sexually attracted to? That is a not that complicated. People know if they are gay (at some point) because the people they want to be with are the same sex as themselves. And it doesn't matter if they were "born that way" or chose to be that way. It is just a question of who they are attracted to, nothing else.
But "gender" is much more complicated because there is not just one factor that makes a person a man or a woman. There are thousands of things that go into our definitions of men and women. And thankfully, those things are pretty broadly defined. Wearing jewelry, for example, doesn't make you a woman. Playing with dolls doesn't mean you are a girl. Having long hair like Cole Hocker doesn't mean he is a woman. There is no "one thing" that you can point to and say, "Ah, ha! There it is."
But with sex (which is not the same as gender), it is much easier to list the biological markers of normal of hormone levels, the secondary sexual traits like hip and shoulder ratios, and so on. That is why the divisions are based on sex, not gender. And sex is testable with a cheek swab (in all but the most confusing DSD cases).
I don't care if you identify as a girl and feel like a girl in your heart, that is fine (it is a free country), but that doesn't change your lungs, muscles, hips, hormones, etc.
That is why I am surprised we don't just base the divisions on sex, not gender.

It's not required to be explicitly stated, I have heard the 4-5 arguments that the trans cult have and can fill in the blanks well. The "you just want to have a penis inspection day" or some variation is a very common one. OP was obviously trying to go down that line of life of reasoning by bringing up the false conspiracy of the "mandatory genital inspections", he just was trying to more subtle about it than most.
There is no "solution" needed. We have mens sports and women's sports. That's it. That's how it will always be. Pick one. I, and millions of other normal Americans, are not gonna compromise with you cultists.
What I said is that children should not be made to have a genital exam with the results reported to the state. (I support minimal government intrusion into such things.)
If you’re really a parent and a medical doctor like you say you are, then I'm really suprised you don't already know that if your children were born in the USA - or you legally immigrated to the USA after they were born - and your children are minors enrolled in US public schools, and they play school sports, then a lot of information about their health has already been reported to the state.
The information about your children already reported to the state starts with details related to their birth. This includes each child's DOB, TOB, POB, mother's name, birthweight, Agpar score, general state of health and - yes- their sex as observed, recorded, confirmed and agreed to by the health care personnel, parent(s) and other people who were present at or soon after the birth and who visually examined and also touched the child's genitals as a matter of course as part of the standard regimen of medical checks, diapering, wiping, powdering, ointment-applying, bathing, swaddling and so on that make up many of the basic elelents of baby care.
If your children were born in the USA, then the government of the state/jurisdiction where they were born has information about them - including their sex - in their vital records, birth registry and health department databases going back to before each child was born.
Here’s a copy of the U.S. STANDARD CERTIFICATE OF LIVE BIRTH which shows the basc kind of info that HCPs/HCFs in the USA customarily provide to state health departments to create a record of a live birth:
Below are examples from three of the largest states in the USA in terms of population - CA, NY and TX - showing the kind of paperwork that parents - in most cases, the mothers - customarily have to fill out in order to register a child's birth and create and obtain a birth certificate.
In many US hospitals/health care facilties, birth registry staff fill out and submit the final forms to the appropriate government agency/ies to create a birth record and register a birth so that the parents don't have to do it on their own. Since the final forms are all filled and filed electronically nowadays, a mother who's given birth in a hospital in the US will typically be presented with the form filled out and ready to file on a tablet for her to read over, check and sign before it's submitted. But much of the info that goes on the final form will have come from the pre-registration worksheet forms the mother filled out on paper or online toward the end of the pregnancy.
Here are the forms from four other states - CT, MN, NC and GA - so you can see how common it is for results of the "genital exams" that all children routinely get as babies to be reported to the state years before kids are old enough to start playing sports.
The official that wouldn't let the two girls be in the podium picture with their backs turned is a disgrace. People like him are part of the problem. Shame on him.
There are only two words to describe a male official telling girls to leave for not standing on the podium with a male winner of girls event: patriarchy and misogyny. It is direct discrimination of female athletes and a violation of Title IX. The official should be fired, even if he is a volunteer.
A phobia is an irrational fear. The only irrationality here is from trans activists who fear that the fetish of autogynefilia will not be accepted by the general public. Rationality, reality and science is the response of the huge majority of Americans who know that girls deserve their own sports based on biological sex not gender identity. There's no "transphobia" here.
There is a workable solution. Compete in the correct division. Bending to the whims and demands of those with mental illness doesn't help anybody. It hurts the real women, it hurts the mental patient by reassuring their fantasy is legitimate (it's not), and it erodes reality itself simply because people are too afraid to tell the truth -- that trans people are mentally unwell. We are degrading society just to be politically correct.
Or none of those things. There are other issues in our society that are far, far more important. Not everyone is appalled like you are. Do you even live in Oregon?
I had a daughter who always finished top 6. She won a couple races in the steeplechase (in high school).
I would have been upset if a biological boy beat her.
What happens in Oregon sets the tone for the rest of the country.

That said, how many cases are there?
You would have been upset. How would she have felt?
No skin in this game as a pretty impartial poster, but I have consistently found a big difference between how adults feel about it and the actual kids themselves.
Without some form of testing or medical records proof, what stops a coach from filling his girls XC varsity team with a few 17-19 minute JV boys who claim to identify as girls? Seems like an automatic state title pathway.
