Kipchoge a good shout for podium?
It’s early, but he has his usual confident form. No way we can tell if he’s in over his head until 30km though.

If they want to cover the wheelchair races, they need to do a split screen so we can see the elite men/women at the same time.
Hassan is now 17 seconds back at 15 miles. Assefa and Jepkosgei are on 2:13:38 pace. That is quick, but not unsustainable for Assefa, who said beforehand she felt she was in better shape than when she ran 2:11:53 in Berlin in 2023.

Yee 45:41 @15k (2:08:31 pace)
He's pacing has been consistent at 4:54 per mile, looking good for a sub-2:10 finish
Do they just refuse to show the men’s race?
Female Pacer is gone. now what happens
Can I watch the elites men race please???
Women's pacers gone.

Assefa seems way too impatient for this early in the race
Hasan 26 seconds behind but the pacer is now gone
Jepkosgei refusing to act as the new pacer for Assefa, they might slow each other down now
Cole drops Bester at 9.3 miles
Gwaaaaaaarn Cole
How far is the gap to Hassan now? I can't tell

I don’t see why they can’t just have a split screen or just have a choice of races on iplayer even if it’s without commentary. At least we don’t have to watch the personal storylines of the runners in the masses.
15k
Felton 49:47 (2:20:26 pred)
Bester 49:15 (2:18:41 pred)
Gibbens 49:17 (2:18:26 pred)
For men pacers - Mwangi gone, hopefully Kiprono can do a good job but I think the racers might be alone at 25k if not earlier
Announcers say they haven't seen Assefa take a bottle yet.
Following the shoetubers…… I predict a death march for Cole Gibbens who seems to have gone off way too hot
The Winning female wheelchair basically drafted the men!
