I'll be fairly frustrated if today comes and goes without an update, it's been a week since they told us to sit tight. At this point, they should have a reasonable understanding of the region's recovery timeline, and the political appetite to make the race happen.
If having the race is going to be even remotely controversial, I'd prefer a postponement or a cancellation.

If they're offering the chance for those most affected to carry on their training with updated plans, to me that sounds like they're going ahead, 100%.
The email they are referring to is probably the training plan emails. This time it had this text and video:

It's being downvoted because you make a claim based in an e-mail you received today, that no one else has received. You base your arguments on news from a couple of days ago.
The opportunity for local runners to change their registration originates from an e-mail last Wednesday, 6th Nov. If it had already been crystal clear that they wouldn't cancel, then why not be explicit about it?
The hard truth is that there is no news on a conclusion. We have to wait and have to deal with it, however much we all like to post anonymously that it is cancelled or not.
The guy literally says in his video that there is no news about the marathon happening or not. Stop making conclusions based on incomplete information.

If they were going to cancel, they would have done so by now.
If they are offering coaching to flood victims, it shows the organisation's mindset about the current situation and are preparing to go full steam ahead, no matter what.
I'm sorry, but this seems like cope. It's far more likely that employees have been told it's "business as usual until a formal decision is made", and that's why we're still receiving these sorts of emails.

No it was sent over the weekend. Was I not clear enough? They're offering bespoke marathon training to FLOOD VICTIMS.
That alone should show you how the organisation feels about the situation. If they are willing to do something as insensitive as that, then they're obviously going ahead with the race.
Just for information, trains between Madrid and Valencia will resume on November 13th.

Yeah, I feel fairly uncertain about the whole thing. In an ideal world, you trust that the race organizers have done their due diligence, and are holding the race because it's what's best for the city, region, and participants. Obviously in practice, money talks.
