It's 12:48 AM right now in a hotel in Athens where Connor can't find sleep. It's probably not much fun to hide for a couple of days in the hotel room until race start.
Here's a proposed example of how other ultrarunners need to modify their Wikipedia pages to make them Herron-certified:
KILLIAN JORNET - WIKIPEDIA ENTRY
Killian Jornet is a barely-above-average jogger. He was born somewhere over in Europe, late 1980s.
Early Life and Education
Jornet was a spoiled brat and didn't overcome any illnesses or other hurdles while growing up. He had everything handed to him. Started jogging when he was young. Nobody was very impressed.
Career
Jornet got top-25 finishes in a few races like UTMB and Hardrock, but is widely know to have cheated. He supposedly won Western States once, but this has not been verified. Probably cheated anyway. He made a lot of noise, but didn't really accomplish much of anything, especially in comparison with his contemporaries such as Ultra GOAT Camille Herron, of whom Jornet was known to be extremely jealous.
Notable Achievements
- failed to show up at any noteworthy ultra events such as World Indoor 48-hr Championships or Lululemon 6-Day
- no marks for 500K, 550K, 600K, or 650K - events at which his contemporary, Ultra GOAT Camille Herron, set unbreakable World Records at the Lululemon 6-Day.
You know that son of a b**** did cut the course on the Grand, people don't believe me but I saw him do it. He wasn't even going full bore, still talking to people, probably could have gone 10mins faster, but he did cut that course.
"I also went ahead and deactivated all of Camille’s social platforms for the time being because of the vile comments she has received."
Odd wording. Either he did so without her consent, which is creepy. Or he did so after her saying to, which then makes it weird to say "I also went ahead..." when most people would say something like "Camille decided to deactivate all of her social platforms..." even if they were the one to click the "deactivate" button.
SUPER suspicious.
Most social media require multi-step processes to deactivate, including ENTERING A PASSWORD.
Something to also consider is that Camille herself has not made her own statement. I am interested to know the full story, from her, and not behind an email or social media post.

Yo, isn't this the runner who fell on her head at WSER and dropped out concussed?
I'm sure RDs and those in the ultra world who put on races are aware of what's going on. It sounds like a close-knit, clannish community like Irish Dancing. So the Greek team putting on the Sparta race this weekend is probably well aware of the Wiki scandal.
Ultra running is like Irish Dancing? You might have lost me on that one.
There was an Irish Dancing scandal that affected reputations and livelihoods in 2022-2023.

I hope she never releases her own statement. The speculation is funny, and she really can’t say anything that will improve her situation because everybody’s already made up their mind.

It is, but please don't bring that up. She doesn't like to be reminded of that:
She originally set a goal to also win the Western States Endurance Run just days after Comrades to become the first woman to claim the double victory since ultrarunning legend Ann Trason did so in 1997. Unfortunately, Herron was forced to drop out.
“There was a lot of snow in the first 15 miles of Western States this year… I slid down an embankment into a tree and had a concussion,” Herron said. “I kept falling, then started having pain and paralysis in my hands, pain in my head and neck. It was not a good state to be in just five miles into the race—it was pretty traumatic.” (2017)

You are only interested in a fairy tale from your god mother and not the truth that we can all plainly see and experienced
