I believe Sha'Carri is saving herself for the 200m final as well, hence her shutting down so soon.

Please ignore what you are hearing on both the US and international broadcasts. There is no bye into worlds going to the winners of these races. Jonathan Gault told me that was the case earlier in the week as next year's DL final is before Worlds so next year's winner will get the bye.
We have written WA during the meet and they have confirmed Jonathan is correct and not the broadcasters.
