Both the Australian runners - Stenson and Gregson, look like triathletes compared to the skinny African runners. Both OZ ladies have similar physiques, strongly built, good quads.

The key for Hassan is to survive the downhills and preserve her quads I feel.

2:26:30 pace at halfway but that is deceptive since they are literally at the high point of the course. Finish is almost 150m lower elevation than the 20k point.

Pretty slow - quite different from the men's race.

This is the classic Des thing. DL moves to the front, idiot broadcasters act like that's shocking, and it's just because the pace is so slow.
