Yeah, rumor right now is that neither was able to warm up. I guess SAFP pulled and Sha'carri didn't. Would make sense why she was so nervous.

I mean...when your whole country is the size of a suburban county in the U.S., it's not hard to imagine that a decent runner could completely own the country's track events.

Maybe also includes a few indoors. But also Luxembourg isn’t that big of a country. It’s like being the champion of Vermont.
Is it my imagination or was there supposed to be a rule this year that if someone dns the next person was to take their lane
I can’t recall, but the Olympics has inferior rules to Worlds. Worlds will run 9 in the finals. For some reason we’re wasting a lane here. And then the Repechage as well.
