Didn't think he's like a douche, but from the sweat elite videos where he's in and interviewing pros he seemed like to be on the spectrum. Meaning not getting social clues and not really getting the vibe of the group. Maybe it's just my impression.
to be fair this is a really good point, I dont want this to get sidetracked into trying to push a diagnosis on the man, but I'd agree that in every SE podcast interview I've ever listened to, it always sounds like he's not listened to the answer the interviewee has given, as he'll just respond with something blunt like "cool. Ok, next..." or "Yep" and I always just wrote it off as maybe he didn't care about the person/topic and was just doing this as work
This strikes me as narcissistic rather than autistic? In which case, yes, I would fully agree that he is a narcissist in the full diagnostic sense rather than the casual use for someone who is a bit full of themselves.
Is there anything we can do to get some bigger names in the running world to comment or bring attention to it? LetsRun, Citius, Coffee Club, Youtubers (Kofuzi, Eric Floberg), sponsors (Stryd, Ketone IQ, Soar), etc.
SOAR have been informed, and if there's no reply I know the founder (loosely) so can speak to him.
SOAR emailed back right at close of business (UK time) today saying this had been passed to the marketing team to be looked at in full.

Good to see some natural justice kicking in. Of course this could just be a lipservice email that goes nowhere. But at minimum he gets a shiver of apprehension as he no doubt is reading this along with us.
They're not even close to being in the same category. Bester is an annoying social media guy who sells over priced bang average training programs to people who don't know better and shouts silly catchphrases.
Very different to what we have seen time and time again from Fox.
