Putin and Russia's government are not even right wing! Putin is an apolitical autocrat who will do whatever it takes to keep himself in power. Putin doesn't adhere to any ideology or moral framework, except one that serves himself. Any political appeals he makes to people is just to gain support. He's just not a flaming liberal pu$y either, which is why he gets mistaken for being right wing (which says more about the modern left than it does about Putin).
Ruzzia is authoritarian fascist i.e. actual Nazi. His thinking and actions mirror Hitler on a haunting fashion. The giveaway is his early accusation of Ukrainiana as being Nazis; the kneejerk from the Kremlin playbook is to project their own misbehavior onto Ukraine.
I'm going to take a wild guess that you don't know what fascism actually means and are just using it interchangeably with authoritarianism. I'm sure whatever similarities you're drawing between Putin and Hitler could also be found among most dictators.
The left labeling Russia/Putin as right wing is a strategic political move on their part to garner support and manipulate those away from the right as to not be guilty by association. It's pretty obvious at this point.
