Hoppel demonstrating that running a little extra distance is okay if it enables you to stay out of trouble. Covered all the moves perfectly. Great race

This was my first time watching an 800m run under prison rules, that was fun.

Gonna miss Mo Katir charisma this year 😔✌️
super slow women's 800m - pleased for Reekie getting silver
That close in the 800 was nasty

You good bro?
Slow 800m final. Jemma should have just gone. Duguma controlled that.

A 'novice' sprinting away like that is a bit of a worry.

Nia Akins is watching this at home, really upset that she screwed up at the indoor USA meet and didn't qualify. 2:01? Akins could have medaled.
Big tactical error for Jemma not to go to the front right before the bell.
That 34.xx second lap was an absolute jog. Weird way to run an 800 but it worked for Duguma. Reekie might have been smart to take over and keep a quicker pace.
So happy for Noélie Yarigo, taking her first global medal at the age of 38.
