I agree. Looks like the liars got banned again. I wish that they could be happy for the top up amd coming American. This runner is incredible both on and off the track.
Obviously somebody who races selectively. I don't understand why nobody comments about programs like Tennessee. Coach is a banned doper and his son is a banned doper.
Are you one of the posters who was poking fun at Mu for not finishing a mile and laughing at everyone who predicted that she could do well in the 1500? Wiley is faster than every woman in the field for1500 and she just won a national cross country meet. To say that she doesn't have a prayer in the 3000 is disingenious or just plain silly.
It’s pretty well established that Kersee has a complicated (some may say sketchy) past, and Sydney and Athing are both super talented and good. However, unless a positive test or a confession happens, I’m giving them the benefit if the doubt (even though I know many wouldn’t).
All the anti-Wiley posts getting deleted is interesting. One person (probably in Indiana) is posing as many different folks, trying to influence the public’s perception of AW through their many posts and upvote/downvote manipulation. It’s sad, really, that their life revolves around their obsession to try to tear someone down. If they could use all this energy toward something positive, they’d likely make a difference and accomplish something.
I’m looking forward to seeing what Adds will do this upcoming year. I’m happy to let her decide what’s best for her. So far, that has clearly been the right move. However, If Touhy gets a nice contract and if AW runs another solid time in indoors, then I think the timing could be right to consider “going pro”.

No, you must have me confused with someone else.
I actually like AW a great deal. The 3000 is out of her bailiwick, though. Facts are facts.
I wouldn't put a great deal of stock into that slowish NAIA XC win on an easy course vs slow competition. She would probably not have cracked the top 100 in the D1 meet, the top 50 in the D2 meet, or the top 10 in the D3 meet. I know enough about the sport to be cognizant of the fact that times from different courses and different races vs different competition can't be compared but the facts are that all of the aforementioned NCAA meets were contested on courses that were more difficult than the NAIA course and the times were faster. Wiley more than likely would have run faster vs better competition but we'll never know.
I'm not being a hater. Just being realistic. Perhaps you should take off the rose colored glasses and quit being such an over-the-top and gushing fanboy. It's a creepy look for you.
She would earn a larger contract than Tuohy. Sponsors are predicting Tuohy to be a 3:59/14:40 runner which is great but does nothing at the world level. Wiley is ready to compete right now. She is young. It is reasonable to expect 1:55/3:54 by the time that she is Tuohy's age.
Strawman. There is no doping program. The current coaches and admin should sue you. And sponsors are very interested. She will sign a much larger contract than Tuohy.

I can see her at the 3:54 mark but that 1:55 is going to be tough to attain unless she can work on that 400 speed. Keely Hodgkinson is just now at 1:55 and she is 51.76 400 runner. She also has run the 600 in 1:23.41 which is about 10ish seconds faster than Wiley's 600 best. Wiley could probably go faster than that now but she is not as fast as Hodgkinson.
Take off the rose colored glasses, quit being such a fan boy, and start being objective. Being enthusiastic about AW's future is one thing, being obsessive is another.

Again with the Tuohy reference? I thought that this was a thread about Wiley and Mu and how someone thinks that Wiley is already better than Mu.
These threads always follow a similar pattern. Someone starts a thread about Wiley. Wiley fans, unprompted, introduce Tuohy into the thread. When criticism about Wiley begins, Tuohy becomes a target. It's focking exhausting.
Get a life. Perhaps if you trained or studied as much as you perseverated over Wiley, you could also be successful in something.
What would it take for the hater running nerds to figure out that they have been lied to and they've bought into it hook, line, and sinker? That the the accusations are ~25% true (some very stupid decisions by Nick that has him banned from coaching) and mostly false? That Wiley is a tremendous runner who has been criminally treated by this site and by the running community as a whole?
We live in a time when many people believe things that they're told that just aren't so. Everyone has an agenda that they believe benefits them, the actual truth be damned.
She also has run the 600 in 1:23.41 which is about 10ish seconds faster than Wiley's 600 best.
Are you suggesting that AW ran a 23-24 last 200meters when she ran 1:57? That would be amazing.
I agree that AW will need to work on her speed. She'll need to run at least a 52low to get to 1:55. But, I am not sure why that is out of the question.

No, I am not suggesting that. Here's my full quote:
"She also has run the 600 in 1:23.41 which is about 10ish seconds faster than Wiley's 600 best. Wiley could probably go faster than that now but she is not as fast as Hodgkinson."
Perhaps I should have not said that "she could probably go faster" and, instead, stated "she can go faster."
I have no doubt that she can run faster than her best 600 time now, particularly since it was in January of '22 when she ran it. I still believe that Hodgkinson is faster, though. I would really like to see Wiley's 400 best now. If she can be in the 50ish range, I would say that she can be in the in the 1:55 to 1:56 range.
TBH, I'm surprised that Hodgkinson does as well as she does in the 800 with her 400 best of 51.76 which she did last summer in the Euro U23 championships. Hodgkinson is young and I fully expect to see her evolve into an 800/1500 type as she matures.
