I looked at a couple of those. They reported on the story because it's major but I don't see the text of Thomas's masterful dismantling of Jackson anywhere.

Every time I have to send a picture with my resume for a placement I know what that is for. People are not treated equally.

Well you see, they won’t be getting passed over anymore because the only reason that minorities were even getting accepted was because they are not evil whites.

The percentage of 'diversity' students at California fell when they banned it but went back up after colleges found ways to discriminate again. I just want a Republican who's willing to sue any college that violates it

You forgot to provide proof of your "only" claim.

You also need to prove that "evil whites" were the ones getting "passed" over. Your assumption is that non-evil whites were not getting passed over, or were they?

What are you talking about? Thomas wrote the dissent in Fisher v. University of Texas. He clearly stated then that in his view the equal protection clause of the 14th amendment prohibited the use of race for consideration in the administration process. Your lack of education may have found it newsworthy, but Thomas's position on this hasn't changed in the last 7 years and you'd have to be some sort of slack jawed yokel to find it newsworthy that Thomas wrote the same thing he wrote 7 years ago. There is no intelligent source of information/news which didn't know his position on this or would be surprised that it did not change. You endlessly announce your ignorance, when will you stop?

In your formative years, it has to do less about IQ and more about your environment and exposure. I came from a disadvantaged environment. There was no expectation of going to school and doing well. I have lots of friends and family in prison.

I didn’t study or prep for the SAT. I got around 1100. To you - that would be low IQ. But in fact, that was not the case. I just didn’t have the same set of circumstances.

Fast forward to college: I went to college fully expecting to eventually become a professional runner. After a few years of unimpressive improvement, I realized I needed to change course. From that point on, I got essentially straight As the rest of my college tenure.

I passed some of the most difficult tests in the world and scored a 780 on the GMAT.

My first job out of college was at a Wall Street firm. My floor mate went to Harvard and had scored 1580 on his SAT. To keep the story short, I was probably a little smarter than him. He asked me how to do everything.

The difference: he came from a middle class family. His parents put him the best schools. He started SAT prep in 9th or 10th grade.

We are indeed a product of our decisions. But you can’t expect every 5-17 year old handed lemons to make lemonade. I didn’t. At least not in HS.

If you put me in a different situation, I probably score 1550+ on the SAT.

And that’s what affirmative action is for. It should be a circumstance-based assessment.

More blacks have a story similar to mine than whites or Asians. So naturally, they will score higher on exams.

Chuckie Kushner attached $1,000,000 donation to Jared's application. Jared's test score, rigor of high school courses and g.p.a. qualified him for somewhere between U. of Washington and Washington State. Interesting how few people are mad a sons of billionaires getting into top schools.

In New Jersey, many of the schools that spend the most per student are the worst. Asbury Park spends over 42k per student and is the worst district in the state.

I am Asian American and never got any kind of benefit being Asian...was treated like everyone else. That's a good point though (no sarcasm). People told me I'd get great jobs due to being Asian...that was not the case. :/ I had to find entry-level work and move up like everyone else.
