I don't really care what a company is for or against, but I do think it is odd that so many companies feel the need to take a stand on social issues. It's like, you make dog food. Why do I need to know where you stand on abortion?
This is what I don't get. It blows my mind that they think doing this is going to win them more customers than lose them. Why do they feel the need to sign up an endorser who literally is going "women face". Black face is rightly not allowed for mocking the worst stereotypes about black people. Dylan Mulvaney does the same for women and yet gets endorsement contracts.

There were just 1,400 kids between ages 6-17 NATIONWIDE who received puberty blocking medication in 2021. There were 56 kids ages 13-17 who had genital surgeries from 2019 to 2021. This is a cause for national concern?

The idea that drag shows are taking place at elementary schools is also simply not happening. If parents want to take their kids to see a man wearing a dress outside of school, that's their choice. Again, I don't know anyone who does this and I am sure you don't either. But conservatives act like it's everywhere. Much more common is parents who leave their kids alone with an ipad/computer with internet access, which has almost certainly exposed them to much more scandalous material than any drag show.
The only trans panic issue that has any kind of merit is fairness in athletic competition, which frankly should not be in any rational person's top 100 most pressing political topics. But conservative media outlets run 10 stories a day about it because they know it will get people like you all riled up. Who has the agenda?

In a free market capitalist society, companies are free to market their products however they want in order to try to maximize their profits. A lot of the complaining about "woke" and "cancel culture" is really just a complaint that for profit companies have found out that they can make more money by marketing themselves as being a socially conscious company. I have always had a knee jerk "oh please" whenever a blue check MSNBC-er type calls a right winger a fascist. But right wingers are actually being textbook fascists when they complain about woke culture in commerce because what they really want is to be able to take over the government and then have it take over control over private businesses in order to root out corporate values and culture that the right wingers find objectionable. The merger of the state and the corporation is what fascism is by definition.
The problem with this statement is you assume they are trying to reach a bigger audience and right wingers freak out. In truth, this kind of move that bud light made alienates many of their buyers meaning it was an economically stupid choice. Can they do it? Sure, go right ahead. But it tells consumers they care about pleasing the agenda rather than their business or even money. I don't like this but I don't think they need to be stopped. It's amazing that someone could post this and think they're making strong points. You're attempting to gaslight and downplay the issues as something created by the conservatives when it is liberals who are fighting for these issues. If this is such a non-issue, then why are so many liberals upset that states want to prohibit underage gender reassignment and the teaching of Gender Theory in schools? If these laws won't affect anyone because these things aren't happening, then why be upset? Also, the rapid rise of Gender Dysphoria - and the number of kids seeking "gender reaffirming care" - as a social contagion among youths is something that happened in the last 5 years. YOU might not think it's a big deal but that doesn't mean everyone has to agree with you. The number of transgender people being murdered or assaulted is also extremely low, yet many on the left believe that it's a national issue that everybody should care about.

Red states are trying to prevent gender reassignment surgery wholesale, not just for kids. They are also attempting to prevent any conversation whatsoever pertaining to the existence of trans or gay people in schools.
In the rare instances that gender reassignment surgery for minors does occur, it is the treatment prescribed by medical professionals as the best option for the patient's health. The conservative narrative is that little kids across the country are walking into clinics without a parent, having a brief conversation with a purple-haired doctor with an agenda, and then immediately going under the knife. That's not how it works. These are private, difficult medical decisions parents are making that conservatives have absolutely no business meddling in. (I noticed you declined to address the fact that millions of parents across the United State mutilate the genitals of their male babies. No issue with that?)
Your proof that drag shows are routinely occurring at elementary schools consists of three instances spanning 6 years, two of which were at high schools. The one example of a drag show where elementary schoolers were in attendance was from 2017 at an afterschool talent show. The guy who performed it was removed from his post and he also wasn't trans. But do go on about how I'm the one who's gaslighting.
When I was in high school, there was a teacher dance every year at the student pep assembly. Some of the gym teachers (who were undoubtedly conservative Republicans, given where I grew up) wore dresses and wigs during it. It wasn't overtly sexual or scandalous; it was just a joke and no one cared, let alone call the authorities or accuse the teachers of being pedos.

I never said those were the only examples and I'm not going to scour the internet for every single example and link it in this thread.
