Klecker asks Woody to take lead.
Woody doesn’t want to help…to be honest kinda a faux pas in this scenario
Kincaid is lurking so he can steal Klecker's soul one more time

They both look pretty unperturbed at the moment, but would like to see Kincaid help out a little if they want the hottest possible time.
Nobody’s going sub-27 sadly. Hopefully both can break 27:10 and get the standard.
21:47 at 8k
21:36 target for 27:00
Yeah not really seeing sub27 🤞
It’s time for Woody to blow by him
Pacer Kioko still racing? Unfinished business from Tallahassee?
See if it shakes out, but to me, Klecker looks a little more tired with three laps to go. Of course, he's doing all the work.

Neither Woody Kincaid nor Joe Klecker is EVER going to break 27. NOT gonna happen.
I was downvoted like crazy. Some of you will learn.

I think they'll bomb the pace and the male winner will be around 27:05
Right on the money.

Doesn't exactly seem impossible when they just went 2706/2707.
Kincaid 27:06
Klecker 27:07

They didn’t even pace it to try to break 27. 65 per lap, assuming a 60 final lap, is 27 in the nose. They had maybe 3 laps sub-65 and that’s it.

It is NOT impossible. It is NEVER going to happen though. This was a great opportunity.
Kincaid 2706
Klecker 2707
They miss the standard by a couple tenths per lap. You'd think Kincaid doing even a bit of the work there may have changed the outcome. Hopefully he puts the medal he won tonight at the Sound Running 10k in a nice frame.

Klecker has no chance of winning any kind of competitive race if he can’t kick. He needs to work on that bad.

Ok, sort of uneventful, but Klecker has a ceiling, and we all see it. I’m going to get a lot of downvotes, but just have to call it. Woody, much more intriguing. Kiplimo, Cheptegei, Barega, not sweating this race. That’s for sure.
