I’d say more than 50% chance China is right that’s it’s just a weather balloon gone astray. They have enough other methods of spying on US soil that a spy balloon seems like a stretch and pretty silly.

the Pentagon confirms on the first balloon. That there's a separate payload, from the surveillance structure. And the balloon is being directed.

I've mulling over whether the balloon should have been shot down once identified a Chinese asset. my open minded, and moderately risktaking bias, feels yes.
remember how the world supported the USA in the days, the months, immediately after 911. the same global revulsion would happen if the payload had a Chinese bioweapon, that released. it would be either war and devastating lose for China, or xi must be internally couped.

You are right. Many NFL playoff parties include much talk about woke social theories. I think there is even an outline put out by the Antifa organization to have group discussions during commercial breaks. Of course, that only takes place when we are not discussing how the US bioweapon defenses have decreased under Biden.
