Not so likely this year. In the merge at the Manhattan race, they finished behind several NY teams including St. Anthony’s, Auburn, Ithaca, Arlington, and Hunter College Campus.
But, they only have one senior, 2 juniors, 2 sophs, and 2 freshmen on varsity, and also another good sophomore who was on varsity earlier in the season.
So they will have a better chance to qualify for NXN next year and the year after that
BTW: it looks like they added a good freshman this year. McCarron 9:51 for 3200m. This team will be good in a couple of years

Tuohy, McCarron, and Chery will be a solid trio on the team both in 2024 & 2025.
Some people think that NR would qualify for NXN in 2024, but it will be hard (but not impossible) to get through Monroe Woodbury / Saratoga. Ithaca will be strong too.
In 2025 they will have a good chance to go to NXN too. For that year, other than Tuohy, Chery, and McCarron, they will have: Perez Nieves (current freshman who ran a 17:57 5k) T Piccone (current sophomore who ran a 4:45 mile / 16:45 XC 3-mile, and was on the cusp between JV and varsity for XC. Also has an older brother who is really good). And with 1.5 year to go until that season, there’s always a possibility that someone comes out of nowhere.
