Both elder ingebritsens have had great careers for middle distance runners. Henrik is running on a twice surgically repaired hamstring. Seems like Henrik still loves trying to compete maybe its time for him to give the marathon a shot. I think both Henrik and Phillip have gotten the most out of their bodies.
Filip just said to norwegian tv that he had some problems with his Achilles tendon (I'm danish so not completely sure) but that his body feels great and that he feels he is in great shape.
He has been training well lately but without spikes and the problems come in the spikes.
Keely over Muir. Solid run 1:57.7
Hodgkinson looks easy in the win. Muir ran like a 1500 runner (great finish, just not enough top-end speed to make the catch)
Keely looks very strong and I think she has a lot more in her. However she is a clear 2nd to Mu in my opinion. Look forward to their showdown in July.

Yep this is correct.
no, LarsL11 is correct.
Santos will win gold in Eugene no matter who shows up.

She's up on where she was this time last year, she didn't get under 1.58 until July then. Both this and her last race were a tad disappointing for me but hopefully both she and Mu can put on a cracking performance in the Worlds.
Obligatory reminder: no one make fun of Santos's appearance. He was badly burned when he was young
Filip should run NYC if he feels better in road shoes.

Great post. I love to point out the logical flaws in people's arguments. And the, "And Shelby improved too much" is also shot out of the dark by Monson as she's improved 1 full minute in the 5000 and she was a 5000 runner in college.
College pb 15:31. Pro pb 14:31.
I wonder if that logic in those two paragraphs will make Thougthsleader go totally negative and think, "Monson's dirty as well. Afterall her coach was coached by the now banned Alberto Salazar and her coach almost certainly got too much of l-carnitine from Dr. Brown."
Let's hope not.
You conveniently forget of course that Shelby tested positive for a banned substance outside of her much shadier progression.
Monson at age 20 ran 8:45 to win Millrose and 15:31 to win NCAA indoors in not a time trial (2:56 last K after 3:16, 3:06, 3;09, 3:03). Now she’s got super spikes and is at an age where most athletes progress. Shelby had multiple later in her career breakthroughs at ages 25-27 especially in the 1500 where few athletes knock off huge chunks after age 23-24.

Damn, I really like Valerie Allman. Such a great athlete and looks like one. She could play Wonder Woman very convincingly.

Now its time! He said in the interview with norwegian TV that he didn't focus to much on the record, but hoped on a good race. We will see in some minutes.
is that mud or tattoos?
He may be cooked, but Katir has a sweet neckerchief.

Agree. I could see Mu winning that same race by a half second more, creating more separation at the finish
