It’s probably gonna be even bigger upsets at the meet. These regional meets are tough. All the mentioned guys were expected to advance.
Isaac Basten’s closing speed is scary good.

The West 5k is crazy deep. There will be some very good runners left at home for NCAAs
My East and West are both working.
Mens 100 East
Harding, Kone, and Fahnbulleh were the winners. Fahnbulleh best time at 10.03
Rain and not great conditions.
Lance Lang didnt qualify with a 10.38
Boling had to rally from way back after bad start...finished 3rd to qualify in 10.18

And that 10.04 from Fanbulleh was with almost no wind! His 200 is going to be insane
BYU's men's 3 legged steepler is back....some body please give that man a larger sack to carry his lunchbox in...geezus
Perhaps....but you just never know.

Mine has worked fine from the beginning.
Ross 44.23!
Devon Achane and Roman Turner ran the same time to the 1000th of a second in the West prelims. How do they determine who gets that 12th non-automatic qualifying time? Achane ran in a heat with an illegal tail-wind and Roman Turner ran in one with a legal one.
Think Micah Williams ran the 2nd fastest 100 in collegiate history behind Coleman.
