Too much theory from you. Facts. McConnell is FOR giving billions to Ukraine along with Biden & Pelosi. Leadership starts from the top. Most of McConnell's troops (Republican Senators) fall in line. You have for weeks tried to make funding Ukraine a Biden & Pelosi thing. Even before a bill gets to floor of U.S. Senate, if McConnell or any Republican Senator could slow this down but Republican Senators are not slowing funding to Ukraine. Republicans own funding Ukraine as much as Democrats. Are any Republican Senators filibustering/protesting against funding Ukraine? I feel I am teaching an ignorant person details on how U.S. Senate works. Do you homework.

I don't feel any sympathy for the Russian people. They are not having their houses, schools, hospitals, etc. bombed on a daily basis by an outside invader.

90% may be a little high as no one knows the actual figure but the claim that "Russians were a drag on the Allied effort" is idiotic. The Germans suffered more casualties just in the battle of Stalingrad than the US suffered in the entire western theater in the entire war.

This is just pure ignorance. Russia produced over 50,000 T-34's arguably the best tank in the war.
Russia produced it's own artillery and aircraft.
You can hate Russia without being completely ignorant....

Russia invaded Poland with the Germans too.
That doesn't negate what they did from June 1941 to May 1945...
Without Russia Nazi Germany is still running Europe today.

I don't recall that people felt very sorry for German people in 1939-45, or Japanese from 1941-45. I prefer to feel sorry for them when they've lost a war they prosecuted.

Plenty of Russian soldiers have been killed that may not have agreed with the actions of their government. Also, many Russians are being destroyed financially because of decisions made by their government.
The Russian security forces and Oligarchs are the only ones who are not affected by the sanctions in Russia, I believe. Nobody's really mentioned this in the media, but do the security forces feel the problem of sanctions or does Putin set them up safely? The regular cops arresting the protestors against the war.
