But dismissing the objection to Jakob's girlfriend shacking up with him in the basement of the Ingebrigtsen family home at 15 (or whatever it was) merely as "teenagers having relationships" is twisting the charge. I've never known any family - religious or not, American or not (and I've lived in both the US and Europe) - to allow high school kids to cohabitate like that.
