Why? If the "vaccine" works, then what are you scared of?
What a HUGE moron you are for asking that question. Seriously. Good freakin' grief.
1) My main concern there is that one of THEM could get the virus either from any of us vaccinated people (as we still can get and transmit it) or get it on the way to visit us. While it would be their fault completely if they got it at our gathering, I will help any moron by not allowing them to congregate with me. Before you try some snarky moronic comment here, it is MUCH harder for a vaccinated person to contract and spread COVID than a vaccinated person.
2) I am not "scared" of anything. I have been vaccinated and boosted. I am confident that if I were to have a breakthrough infection that my body would fight it off. HOWEVER, I'd really rather not get it, vaccinated or not. It is still not a pleasant experience for people who are vaccinated and get it. Just because I likely would not die doesn't mean I want it.
3) I would tell a family member with strep throat to stay away if they were still contagious. I don't need to have several days of feeling like crap just because a family member was sick and wanted to see me and my family. Fortunately, they are all reasonable people and would not come to a family gathering if they were really sick with anything. I have stayed away from holiday events when I've been sick before.
Stop being an idiot.
