ONE MORE TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dude, what is your take on Boling talking about the 200 being his best event?
Answer the question.
Who cares is my answer, what in gods name does that have to do with the things we are talking about?!?!?! A young Usain Bolt being asked about similar things:
https://www.worldathletics.org/news/news/bolt-i-still-think-the-200m-is-my-best-raceSounds familiar. I guess he should have just dropped the 100, eh? Now go back and answer all my other questions.

Mel Patton world ranked number one in both sprints, WR holder in the 100, but....Olympic 200m gold.
Nothing I've seen indicates Mel Patton ever touched the 100 METER world record. 100 YARD record keeping was likely already obsolete by then, except for hype purposes. Sounds like Patton enjoyed some hype as a result but got a rude awakening with the grown ups (as such that they existed in the amateur days).

Beatty was a 9,4 guy, but became more 200/400,
No one cares. Quinn might theoretically break 9 seconds in a hand timed 100 yard dash. At my peak I would have run at LEAST a 9.2 hand timed 100 yarder, and I'm a nobody. But we are sitting here talking about a 9.4?!?!?!?! From a 2/4 guy?!?!?!?!?! Apples and oranges due to eras alone. He presents no applicable data or intrigue to the discussion. Bringing a 2/4 guy, and his 9.4 hand time 100 yarder, into the discussion is like bringing up George Mican when discussing Steve Nash or the Lukas kid in Dallas now or something. Just stop.

Remigino was a strange case, he only took 5th at that years NCAA 100, and there are still those who think Herb Mckenley beat him, he thought Mckenley beat him. Thinking he didn't run the 200m.
Davis won more USA titles at 200m. Bummer no Olympics to star in.
Meh,,,
More world rankings, more titles won, more fast times, what about that aren't you getting?
Blah, blah, blah. Forrest from trees. Go back and answer my questions now.
