The "Youth" bit is who the money's being raised for.

Does anyone know what it would have cost them to get it certified.

She unofficially broke the 10 mile AR on a very hilly course, on a training run. I don't think Paula even close to pulling that off. Given that this is her first marathon, even by conservative projections she should be able to run 2:16ish.

It took a 2:32 to win it last year. Should be a piece of cake.

In all seriousness, good luck Jill. Just go run and let the results speak for themselves. Even though the Olympic Trials Marathon has already passed, people will take you seriously if you run either the A standard of 2:37, or the B standard of 2:45.

She's never raced or had her awesome training 10 mile AR verified, except by Austin Sedicum and Bob Bobkin and history shows you can't trust them, so no explanation needed at this stage.
