Best thing about it: entry fee is only $8 on race day with no t-shirt, $6 on Saturday at Heart and Sole. The snow is supposed to have cleared out by then. The weather Monday is supposed to be just cold. Hope to see you there, Wayne.
How much is it if you wear a tshirt?

The 208 days training phase II. I ran for 118 minutes on top of snow. This snow is like the one in Pullman Washington. I'm preparing for spring races at this time I have completed seven months.

Good going Mr Rono.
I think that the April 1st Carlsbad race would be a great rust buster for you. The Masters fields are 20-30 deep in most age divisions. The weather is warm(er). That gives you a good 90 days to get some turnover in your next phase.
Think about it. Big fan.

What is it? Is it a 5k? Then I will be running 16 minutes right for 5k.What do think of this weird snow in Albuquerque,NM?
There is a meet with One mile run in Orlando Florida next month. I think I'm ready for 5 minutes flat all out in two or three weeks from now.
Henry
It is a 5k and best of luck this next year!

the 5k in Carlsbad is a world class race with fast times in all divisions. It is hardly the race for a 'rust buster'. Don't show up there unless you are 150 lbs and well into your training/racing; as the press will highlight you, no doubt with publicity.

The 209 day of training phase II.I ran the same way I did yesterday along foothills and copper hills for 125 minutes.
I did burn alot of calories way better than yesterday.Running on top of snow is pain in the neck.I was sweating alot I believe it is because of the heat that is kept internally and the only breathing holes is through the skin, mouth and others holes you may have.
Training when is cold is great you get in shape much faster and lose weight quicker.Stay tune for the year 2007.
Happy new year.

Another Henry classic line! Have a great 2007 Mr. Rono!
Happy New Year Henry !!
I lost 20 pounds over a couple months and a few things that helped me I will share with you.
I ate a salad for lunch 5 days a week.
I always kept many apples and bananas around. When I got hungry I would just snack on these.
Also, drink lots of water, it will fill you up.
sometime I would even take Viviran or No-Doze during the day (caffiene pills that would take away the hunger pains)
Good luck!!

I just read that if "one eats an apple, 3 times a day, before 10 minutes before the main meals, it will really cut down on the amount one eats and drinks"
