Imagine running around a track and field for 1 hour, then 2 hrs, then 3 hours, then 4 hours, then 5, then 6, then 7, then 8, then 9, then 10, then 11, then 12, then 13, then 14, then 15, then 16, then 17, then 18, then 19, then 20 etc…
And then imagine doing that for 2 days straight, then 3, then 4, then 5, then 6, then 7, then 8, then 9, then 10, then 11, then 12.
Now imagine doing that whilst also taking on the pressures of a national fundraising campaign, emotionally and physically showing up for everyone that’s supporting you, all whilst being filmed 24 hrs a days.
Then imagine ontop of that you have people on the internet question your integrity, your preparation, your team, and your timing system. All whilst not being involved enough to know the ins and outs of what’s really going on.
If you’re not willing to put yourself in the arena and do what I just mentioned, then don’t choose to focus on the negative. Have a crack yourself! Donate to your chosen charity, go out into the world and do some good. Choose to see the good in people, rather than assume the bad.
That’s my opinion on half the dribble I’ve read on this forum.
