Would you kindly provide your insightful critique of the latest vlog from SJD shot on location in Italy. Perhaps, using Federico Fellini as your source for analysis of Seth’s journey up a mountain. Any commentary on Seth’s bohemian appearance and brotherly rivalry would be appreciated.

I've been behind on my YouTube. I'll probably watch this tonight and provide my review. Without watching yet, I'd assume Seth would tap into Rossellini more than Fellini for inspiration. Seth has only furthered the advancement of neo-realism that Rossellini is credited as being a founder of.
Honestly he seems to be turning into Seth/Choi/whoever. There's no more normal dude just trying to improve. Getting flown around the world by companies, filming himself hosting shakeouts and making other peoples races about himself. The Berlin one was extra gross today
✌️Kofuzi, I'm done with your videos.
Huh? Seth is a sub-elite runner and elite high altitude runner still running in the same ballpark as his peak. He just finished second at the Pikes Peak Ascent.
Seth’s shakeouts were never shoe company sponsored giveaway fests. I think he gave out stickers.
Philly Bowden came in at 2.25:47 a PB ,negative split and better than she expected sure she will be over the moon with this well done!
Ben Felton (Ben is running) came in at 2.38:03 slowed a lot in second half.
Ben Parkes also slowed in the second half and came in at 2:55:30
Major breakthrough by Bowden with a HM PB in 2nd half of race - though her HM PB is soft. Seems like this altitude trip brought on a load of benefits that her numerous previous altitude trips hadn't. So a bit like Jess Hull.
You left out that Bowden had a year of PBs across multiple distances (including 5th place in UK champs in the 5000 meters; she led during the last lap).
She also changed her coach and now works with Jonathan Green (coached Seidel to bronze medal), who radically changed Bowden’s training regimen (e.g., double thresholds; 100+ mile weeks; more gym work; 10-week altitude camp that fit her training and her race plan vs. her previous 4-week New Balance group camps).
Bowden also has a new sponsorship deal with ON, which has changed her from a semi-pro athlete with a business to a pro athlete (with a sponsor that is partnering in her business).
After watching this year unfold, I expected a 2:26, and I look forward to watching her extend her run of personal bests. Expect that she’ll move to Flagstaff to continue to work with Green (who is now based there).

Floberg is out with his peak week video. And I think there's a good chance he left is marathon in training. With his overall volume being fairly low, he might be able to recover from a all out effort where he had to stop and puke multiple times. But what a silly thing to do 2 weeks from race day.
Yea he seems to run his workout really hard(almost too hard?) to the point of audibly whimpering by the end of some reps. I mean, he still looks like he's managing to recover well enough to keep hammering so power to him. He's far more durable than I.
The sounds he makes could be submitted to an "is it sex or is it running" challenge. No one wants to hear that. And no one wants to see him puking. His weird obsession with going beyond what the pace goal of the session is, feeling like he can do even faster early on, then crashing in the back half of the session. It really does feel like he is leaving his marathon in these stupid decisions. Good luck to him. He might pull out the 2:32 he is aiming for, but he gets too greedy going for more.

Feeling a bit jaundiced but it would be sooo good to see him do a bad race. Humbleing time!

You left out that Bowden had a year of PBs across multiple distances the majority of which were just suring up soft PB's relative to some of her other times (including 5th place in UK champs in the 5000 meters the weakest field theres ever been; she led during the last lap untrue, she led the 3rd KM which ended up being the slowest of the race).
She also changed her coach got dropped and now works with Jonathan Green (coached Seidel to bronze medal), who radically changed Bowden’s training regimen (e.g., double thresholds; 100+ mile weeks; more gym work same as before; 10-week altitude camp that fit her training and her race plan vs. her previous 4-week New Balance group camps untrue).

Matt Fox posted a 2x10k workout today @ 5 flat pace. It was point-to-point with a tailwind, so that may have helped.
This workout seems to be faster than any race he's done
"A tailwind" is an understatement, though - it was a 15-20 MPH consistent wind directly at his back. Laughable that that little tidbit didn't make the Strava log (nor that he drove 30 min out of his way to do this). That adds 15-20 seconds mile (and some resources say 30) without question.
This was a good workout, but please don't take this guy's BS at face value. He can definitely break 2:20 with a well-planned race and a good head on his shoulders, but there's no indication that's even in the cards.
Matt B (Bertrand) is another Shoetuber, not the most well known.
Sorry for the double post. I'm not sure the obsession with Meghan (I only follow her Strava, I don't want BITR content, so maybe that's the issue). If she says she wants the OTQ, she doesn't train like it - I'm surprised she even broke 3 off her training. Definitely not "high level."

Big One data. Yikes... 3 up, 6x (1 @ 6:05/2 @ 5:40), 2 down
I couldn't find the videos of his workout on Insta though.

I don't know much about her regimen but how is her training not high-level? She is fast enough to hit the old "B" standard for OTQ, I think. I may be 100% wrong though. Most women (and men) would give their arms to run 2:45-2:50...

Given how many of the runtubers which are disliked nowadays, it feels like there is a window for someone likable to get some views.
The problem is that they all were quite likable until they got some fame and then let that get to their heads. Looking back at Floberg's videos from one/two years ago is very entertaining.

You cant just make stuff up^^
Check out Bowden’s instagram video today (10/3) and she makes my arguments within seconds.
You seem to be tracking her closely — so how did you watch her 12-week Berlin build (10 at flagstaff; 3 consecutive 100+ mile weeks) and not believe she was going to run a big PB?
And what times were going to trigger your anonymous slander of her and Hull? What if Hull ran 3:53 and Bowden ran 2:27? Would that be ok for you? How do female runners get to stay in your good graces? We really care what you think!!!
note: I only had access to a clip of close of UK 5K champs, and some discussion. If she led during 3K, and not end, that’s a great correction. Congratulations— Phily — top 5 in the UK, woo!

Super impressed by Bowden. Berlin seems to be a good race city for her.
Aubrey Running video with Thomas von BITR was quite entertaining. But I think they were fed up it was only fries and so many people in that adidas running space.
Feeling a bit jaundiced but it would be sooo good to see him do a bad race. Humbleing time!
The way Floberg runs over planned pace early in the session, says it feels good, then starts projecting "oh maybe I could do sub-2:30 and then OTQ". Then reality hits in the rest of the session because he overcooks himself.

He doesn't much attention on here, but Goran Winblad seems like a likeable guy.
