Now we know why he hoarded those shoes in his garage. He said it was for "comparison" sake for his vlog (Uh huh), to compare annual iterations. Now the truth comes out, those shoes are money in the bank and he's willing to use them as currency in lieu of cash payment..
That doesn't make sense. He has tiny feet. 7 or 7.5? The average American man is size 10.5. His foot size corresponds to average US woman though. Does he have any female viewers? I'd guess his viewship is mostly men.

Oh, he doesn't care if the shoes he give away actually fit!
Quite sure Seth reads this thread, if so, block off some/most registers in your basement so the AC air gets directed upstairs better instead of wearing bathrobes in summer to keep warm. Might be able to raise the thermostat a notch and "pinch some pennies", the cold air will make its way back to basement anyway.
I love this detail. Definitely going to be on the lookout to see if he closes any of basement vents. Honestly if he can stomach this thread, there's a ton of things that would really make a positive impact on his channel/life/marriage.
How does this guy do shoe reviews this late? is he reviewing shoes he last ran in a few weeks ago, and therefore doesn’t have the impression fresh in his mind? or is this all pre recorded? in any case, seems disingenuous.
Another shoe review. I truly don’t believe Seth ran in the shoe he reviewed today, the Brooks Launch 9. He mentions not having any footage of running in them because he got injured, but says he has been testing them out for 3 MONTHS. He only has a shot of himself putting them on. Obviously that shot happened recently…if it happened within the past 3 months he would have filmed himself running in them? Also, why does he spit out every shoe review ASAP, but this one takes him 3 months to ponder over? I’m calling his bluff. He is making all this crap up. He never ran in the shoe and is only saying things that can be said by anyone even if they didn’t run in a shoe

I think it is a combination of both. Today is another shoe review day :/ I need my crazy egg eating scenes

not today's but one of the recent reviews had only 25M in them, which we all know for Seth means only 1x run.
I think he's probably ran a v little bit in some of the shoes he had in his garage, and has just massively moved up the timelines of when he will do the reviews, in order to keep putting content out
The only way to handle this moving forward is to have TL test the shoes. She can give an unique beginner persepctive on the fit. Running (slowly) is also a great way to clear your head and get moving again post partum. Seth, like most dads, will aldo benefit from some alone time with the baby. I am sure she will run straight from the door, and not drive for hours first, meaning she just needs 30 min tops.
After sticking around for all these boring shoe review videos, if Seth doesn't vlog the bank coming to repossess his house and haul his furniture away and whatnot when that day finally comes, I'm gonna be so disappointed.

I 100% think Seth is one of those dads that sees taking care of the kids as "babysitting". Anytime he takes the kids to free up true love to do something autonomous, even for a half hour, he probably needs to be showered with praise or he gets butthurt for his hard work not getting acknowledged. Probably only gives TL some childfree time on birthdays and anniversaries. (The real reason Truelove has any relief is actually because extended family is helping, not Seth)

when he was vlogging looking after the kids during TL's pregnancy, what did they do?
1) went to visit the spot where he did his first run 2) went for fro-yo 3) went to a sports store to buy a jersey
man treats his kids as if he's just the fun uncle who doesnt actually know what to do with them
The show reviews are pre-taped. There are continuity issues lately. First video of the week, clean shaven Seth. The next day he has about a four day scruff. On day three, less scruff.

I agree. His shoe reviews are getting boring. Also when someone vlog everyday, its pretty hard to come up with new ideas. Kinda get stuck talking about the same stuff over and over again, and I think that is where Seth is at in his daily vlog.

His shoe reviews all blend together after a while. He also does zero research on actual shoe technology. Take the Hoka Mach series for example. Hoka has a proprietary EVA foam they use which is more elastic than regular EVA foam. Seth doesn't mention this, he just calls it EVA foam, and on other shoe reviews he trashes EVA foam as a dated technology. This could mislead viewers who have been told EVA foam isn't that great, when really, Hoka's EVA foam is phenomenal in terms of cushioning/energy return to weight ratio. They also use a low drop, with a metarocker design, to help propel runners forward and make the shoe feel faster. Seth doesn't mention this, but it could help runners who like the metarocker, as they would seek out other Hoka shoes that have that design.
He basically runs in a shoe a few times, fires up his ring light and camera, and then wings the review.
But hey, he has a lot of cool rotation and panning close up shots of the shoes, and neat video transitions. So at least you will really know how the shoe looks from his review, even if you absolutely do not like wearing it and running in it.
He never mentions that he weighs 116 wet, so his durometer reading is a joke.
You make a good point though about his presentational style. I suppose that's what it will come to. Seth showing shoes in favorable light, and pointing out things we might not notice in static images. Since I'm not sure he'll ever run again.
He'll have the older kid running some Boulder trail before the week is through.
That’s the sad thing, most adults who are runners like to share their hobby with their younger children and do short 1mi runs around the neighborhood with them as a bonding experience. Seth seems to have zero interest bonding with his eldest son (who is probably like 8 or 9 now?) via running. I’m surprised he doesn’t sign his son up for even like a low-key CYO track team.
