We should NEVER let a criminal President, no matter what party, get away with crimes while in office. Presidents are NOT above the law. We need to protect our country from dictator wannabees like Trump. If there is evidence to go after him federally for crimes, then that should be done. There should be NO consideration of moving on or any of that crap.

There will never be a trial of Trump. It would be impossible to put together an impartial jury and ensure their their safety. The possibility of a violent public reaction from his most fanatical supporters makes it not worth it. It's time to move on.

Most of us agree that the justice department should to its job and enforce the law even if it requires Trump to be charged. Lets take politics out of law enforcement. If we charge trump, we need a very strong case.

But your second line is what I am saying. Biden should stay out of it. At least with any public comments. (something Trump could never do)

Let New York do the dirty work at first and react appropriately as things progress.

It took the full four years for Flynn to all the way to conviction then pardon.

This is real high profile and will not be fast - I don't think.

It would be great though if he's in federal prison by Easter.
