I think many of those 74,000 love Trump not the country. Trump never loved our country and his behavior as he is forced out of power shows his disdain for our country, laws and people. He loves himself and always has and always will. The Trump cultist's numbers will weaken now that the head has been exposed and cut off.

I certainly care for this country and its system and its future much more than most Trump cultists that I have observed.

Its time for the less crazy Trump cultists to come back and remember what democracy is all about.

What makes you say I "lack discipline as a person". I am gainfully employed, father of two who runs every day, diligently invests for my families future and my children's education, doesn't drink, consistently gives to charities that are important to me any my family and try to be consistent in my interactions with everyone I meet. I am not perfect but I think I am as disciplined as most Trump voters out there. Can you say more about what you mean?

Trump has severely damaged the GOP. Many of his supporters were anti-establishment people anyway and not really Republicans. Unless there is a MAJOR scandal or we slip into a deep recession or some other unforeseen thing, a Democrat wins the White House again in 2024. If Biden is healthy, it will be him. If there is ANY movement on a new party (The Patriot Party), then conservative voices will be silenced in 2024.

NO President should be directing the AG to prosecute anyone. The DOJ is supposed to be completely independent. I agree that there should be no interference with regard to any state prosecuting Trump, but if the DOJ finds that there are federal crimes for which Trump should be prosecuted, then they should do it. We should NOT let Presidents of any party get away with criminal behavior.

I also agree. As much as I despise Trump, I think prosecuting a former President would be another bad precedent for something the US has avoided up to now. I think best to move on and try to restore our US democratic norms.
