I personally see a narrow D victory (+10-15k votes for both Warnock and Ossoff) followed by further election fraud claims by Rs. Interested in other folks opinions.
I think Rs win both seats. I would be very happy to be wrong though!
I agree with T'tor. I think Perdue is a lock and Loeffler a more narrow winner.
And I would be *delighted* to be wrong.

seriously, the magas STILL think Trump is a mastermind, leading the Dems into a trap. After four years of this. They still think Trump is a brilliant political tactician.

Well, I'm no liberal--in four-plus decades of voting I've never once checked the Democratic box for any candidate, for any office, in any election--and yet it's not "clear as day" to me.
Nor, apparently, to the courts. What *is* clear is that DJT doesn't want to admit that he lost big-time, and a lot of other Republicans want to use the credulousness of the Trump voter to help them win *their* next election(s).

it's 50/50 so hard to put anything on either.
Put a gun to my head I'd say the Dems will win both, because they seem to have the momentum, the Rs are dispirited after their loss in November, and Trump's latest crime spree won't help the Rs.
The concentrated black vote, plus suburban moms, is the Dems' ticket to winning elections.
I think they might get both in this election.
But it's 50/50...no predictions mean anything here.

note that the worm won the 2020 election prediction contest
One thing we have learned about Trump is that he is a patient person and very calculating, never giving the slightest hint of the cards he's holding, so it makes perfect sense that he has been sitting on tons of evidence (probably hiding it under his health care plan) and will spring it on everyone Wednesday. Thats why he made that call to GA election officials. Wanted to throw everyone off his scent, he is a smooth operator. I hope he springs the check for the wall that Mexico sent on everyone Wednesday as well. Own the libs!

I thought 538 did a nice job laying out both cases.
https://fivethirtyeight.com/features/the-case-for-republicans-in-georgia-vs-the-case-for-democrats/I personally see a narrow D victory (+10-15k votes for both Warnock and Ossoff) followed by further election fraud claims by Rs. Interested in other folks opinions.
538 said it well, "The two Senate runoffs in Georgia are tighter than a 35-minute connection at Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport." The rest of the article did a good job of laying out the case for either party to win.
What I can tell you is that the Democrats have an unbelievable cash horde and they are making good use of it.
They are hiring young people and paying $500 per week just to text their friends. Texting someone you know has shown to be incredibly effective at turning out the vote and these guys have the cash to hire twenty-somethings to do it.
With the Georgia senate races, I assume a Republican will win at least one of them and keep senate control under Mitch.
If not, great.
I do think Trump is doing more harm than good in his party with that election.

41% of Israelis over 6o have been vaccinated. it can be done, if a government tries.
BBC:
How has Israel got so far ahead?
Israel began vaccinations on 19 December and is delivering jabs to about 150,000 people a day, with priority given to the over-60s, health workers and people who are clinically vulnerable.
It secured supplies of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine following negotiations early on in the pandemic. It is contacting people with priority access to the vaccine through its health care system - by law all Israelis must register with a recognised health care provider.
Israel has safely subdivided shipments of the Pfizer vaccine, which must be stored at -70C, Health Minister Yuli Edelstein told YNet TV news. This means smaller batches of the vaccine can be sent out to remote communities.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who is campaigning for re-election, has predicted Israel could emerge from the pandemic as early as February
I would say beyond that people keep forgetting:
1. Israel overpaid by quite a bit. 50% more than the US or the EU, or about $10 more per dose and $20 more per immunization. They did this to expedite their orders as Pfizer was heavily incentivized to send Israel more doses since they would earn more. This will end up costing Israel an addition $150 million but will likely be made of quickly as their economy will be able to open months earlier.
2. Israel invested a lot of resources into vaccine education for this current vaccination. They censored Facebook groups trying to spread false claims about the vaccine and educated their people about the importance of taking it. With this, there is a very very small minority of anti-vaxxers in Israel. Even the vast vast majority of Hasidic Jews are getting their vaccines. Compare this to the US where only 60% are willing to get the virus, France where only 40% are will to, and you begin to see why their vaccine education programs are so important.

While control of the senate is far, far better, a split decision would not be a disaster. Even one more Democratic vote can be crucial.
It means you only need to flip one Republican for something to pass. And Biden is notorious for having a good relationship with the other side of the aisle.

I'm involved in local GA activism and if I think within my bubble for sure I see the huge Dem momentum and energy. I'm just wired to believe fear wins over conservatives much more than Dems. They just saw their savior get taken down and must feel like the world is collapsing on them. This motivates desperation which will play out by turning out more voters while some will completely lose faith and give up on politics. The boycott the vote movement is serious but if I had to guess I'd say that's going to be a 15-20k vote difference at most. It could make all the difference but the Dems could easily fall short of winning both contests if they don't get blown out. There is one huge bright spot regardless. Stacy has the right strategy and it's a long term one that is working.

Israel also has a strong history of quickly mobilizing national efforts. Still, I applaud their ability to get this done despite their own never ending political circus. The US is such an embarrassment and sadly we keep lowering the bar.

to be fair to the US, we're fourth best in terms of per capita vaccinations.
It feels like a disaster, but compared to other nations we're actually doing well.

Except a Republican majority places Mitch in control to decide which issues are allowed to come up for a vote.
(This power is an inherent flaw in our system)
