I was very concerned that Biden was going to hurt his chances by appearing to be somewhat senile in the debates. With a good candidate in their prime, I wouldn't have been worried. If Trump had a clue, he would have just let Biden talk during the 1st debate, but he gave him a gift by going berserk.
The Presidency is the most important job in the world and he/she needs to be experienced, intelligent, articulate, in their prime and a good person. Depending on one's opinion on Biden's intelligence, he has two or three of these qualities. Trump whiffs bigly on all five.
This gave me a chuckle. And it's so true.
Trump was a terrible candidate. And he's only going to get worse over the next four years. Trump wanting to run in 2024 is a nightmare scenario for the Republicans.
Not a nightmare scenario if the GOP spends the next few years really priming the base for it. They would have to be willing to spike the toxic kool aid with something extra special that I am sure they don’t have an ethical issue doing. Let’s see
