Trump is trying to maintain his presidency. That's what he is clearly doing and what he has said he is doing. I'm all for his efforts - I am in concurrence. So I don't see how I've been played, lied to or conned. Remember, Daniel, that "to WIN a war, you have to BE a war." Words to live by.
Trump is daft, but he is intelligent enough to know he didn't win and won't be in the White House in about a month's time.
So, no, he ain't trying to maintain his presidency. He's 1) Trying to keep his base engaged, riled up etc so he can maintain control of them and 2) Since he has been unable to manipulate the system enough to his liking, he's decided to try and burn the entire system down. He's actively attacking our country's foundations and institutions. He's not a president for the constitution. He could give two <bleeps> about our constitution.
And the man is pathological liar. That's been proven countless times. "That is what he said he is doing?" Riiiiiiiiiiiiight. The fact that you believe a word he says proves you have bought into the con.
When this is all done, Trump that is, in a year, in 4 years in a decade, and Trump has nothing left to "win" (or he's done enough losing) he's going to come out and tell all these dopey Trumpers that he was conning them this entire time and he can't believe they all fell for it.
What would change American politics more, Trump continuing what he has done and is doing, or if Trump just "fessed up" and admitted he was playing/conning conservatives all along?
