The R party is about 6 inches away from giving up on democracy. They must be kept out of power to save the country.

Since Rand Paul made this claim on Fox Business, compare to this modification of his statement:
“I’m very, very concerned that if you solicit BUSINESS from typically non-CUSTOMERS, that you will affect and change your REVENUES.”
Who in their right mind would blame a business for marketing to new customers and displeased consumers of another brand to gain market share? That's essentially what Democrats did - appealed to both new and existing consumers that were dissatisfied with what the GOP was selling. Politics is, simply put, just another product subject to consumer whims and seductive marketing.
Trump won in the same fashion in 2016. He was selling something fresh and exciting compared to the Dems rolling out tired old product in new packaging. In this regard, Trump and the GOP were akin to a brand with a once hot product (Blackberry or Motorola Razr) that failed to innovate and update their product line, provided really crappy customer service to the majority of their consumers, blamed those customers for not buying more of their sorry product, and sought to frame superior marketing as "unfair competition". The Dems seized upon that weakness/incompetence/arrogance and took back market share with a more appealing product and the promise of better customer care.
