Do you think there might be a correlation between Trump shuttering SEC offices and cutting staff and Trump deciding US taxpayers must buy crypto and hold it in reserve?
One might assume that Trump usually sounds at least a little less stupid than his average mouth-breathing supporter. But then you’re reminded that he yelled (more than once, I think) at Zelensky, a guy without nuclear weapons and hanging on by a conventional thread against an aggressor with nuclear weapons, “You’re risking WW3!!!”
Sounding EXACTLY as stupid as his average anonymous online supporter.
Incredible.
It seems unfair that all of Eastern Europe after WW2, Taiwan, and South Korea ( to name a few) never got or get this astute criticism.

Involving more countries beyond just Ukraine and Russia in a wider war isn’t risking world war 3? If zelensky surrendered we would have peace.

Does it ever cross your mind why you are asking the invaded country to surrender and not the invading country to stop invading?
Does any of that sort of make sense? At least a little bit?

It’s been 3 years, when are these other countries showing up?
And even if they did, and a wider war was started, it STILL wouldn’t be Ukraine’s “fault” for vigorously defending itself.
I wanna think “troll” with comments like yours, but….I saw the election results.

You mean involving other countries like directly involving North Korean troops? Who did that again? And which country—hint: it rhymes with “gina”—who Trump supposedly views as our main rival allowed that to happen?

NATO encroaching on Russia - and in particular, Ukraine possibly joining NATO - caused it. That was Russia’s red line.
This is total BS. That “red line” garbage argument can / could be used to justify Russia invading Poland and the Baltic states as well. The USSR failed and Putin has never gotten over that fact and has spent the last 20 years trying to essentially resurrect the iron curtain. Ukraine originally inquired about NATO membership in 2008—Putin did not invade then—so why was 2014 and 2022 different?
Unfortunate Missed Opportunities in Presidential Leadership:
”You don’t have the cards, Winston. With us, you have some cards. Maybe you give us Scotland, and we don’t promise to help you with Hitler. And I know that NEITHER of you have nuclear weapons, but I’m gonna go ahead and claim that you’re risking WW3, too!!”
We were so right not to put FDR on Rushmore. But Trump’s making a great case.

Nah, I’d prefer to live in a world where a sovereign nation even THINKING about joining an alliance fully justifies a brutal and enduring invasion by a neighbor.
