This is how I see it as well.
I don't know why they would have posted tens of pictures of a web interface to facebook instead of just posting a link to the actual data if they intend to actually share that data. Could just be odd behavior or a local viewing app on their laptop, but I'd be surprised at this point if they actually shared that data as it appears they've had plenty of opportunity and have thus far chosen not to.
It's sad to me when someone embellishes and stretches the truth into fantasy in order to become a "hero" or an extraordinary fairy tale. The actual truth underlying the fantasy is probably a fairly strong story in itself, but people want to appear superhuman. And many people want to believe that others are superhuman.
I also wouldn't be surprised if he has run the majority of this thing. I can't imagine putting that much work into something and tarnishing the whole thing by trying to make it out to be more than it is. But I guess no one really cares about a guy who is just slowly running / walking across the US - at least not compared to someone who is setting a world record. And ultimately that must be what it is about.
Exactly. Paula Radcliffe refuses to release any more blood test data. There is no transparency at all.
Whoops. I posted on the wrong thread.
This guy never thought that he would get caught in the middle of the night by the very sensitive BS detection test at LRC. Very well done.
