They really did get humbled at NXN though. I thought they’d be competing for a podium spot with Herriman
Everyone has been saying this since the start of this thread. Stay humble. They aren't that good and we all knew it the entire year.
Do everything you can to get top 10. That should be the goal. Don't set unrealistic goals and have unrealistic expectations. They are in no position to win it or podium and they never were.
It's whatever. Hopefully the teams next year can learn from this. Go in humble and give it your all. NXN is a completely different ball game. The teams there will crush you.
I mean, podium wasn’t likely for Jesuit, but if they raced like they did at state, top 5 was a possibility based on speed ratings. And yeah, Herriman was a better team than Jesuit. The reason why Herriman did so much better at NXN than at Clovis (where they lost to Jesuit) is that Herriman’s 4th runner didn’t race at the Clovis Championship race, and their 5th runner really improved tremendously since that race.
