I’m familiar with the rural delta area. My point being that Mississippi has only had 1 abortion clinic for 3-4 years. What have people been doing for abortions? Surely some were already driving out of state if they were closer to a state line with more clinics.
I also think you skimmed over my part about abortion activist groups are already promising to help fun travel for people who want an abortion. Companies are stating they will pay up to $4k for their employees to travel for an abortion.
If you’re truly dead set on getting an abortion, you can get one.
Poor people don't work for those companies. Your right that if one is truly dead set on getting an abortion they will use a coat hanger for those that are poor.
The people that thing pregnancy is a walk in the park also, surprisingly, discount the risks of coat hanger abortions.
Not really a leap to think that the kid who thinks mothers dying in childbirth is natural and thus acceptable has issues being called "trans-accepting." But go for it, enlighten us Mr. High IQ (but low EQ).
Bluh quite obviously has issues being called 'trans-accepting' considering he made a whole post telling us how not owned he is. A sure sign of being, in fact, owned..
You’ve just gotten too childish and boring for me.
I considered that. You could say that someone needs an ACL repair after being assaulted. Are they more deserving of that compared to someone who needs to from playing football? If Delaware banned ACL repair surgery with exceptions only if the injury were caused by assault, would that be just?
Sigh, ACL repair has no element of taking a life, at least as felt by a nontrivial portion of the population, so it makes no sense to ban it. An analogy can only be stretched so far before it becomes a zygote search expedition in the sea of Menses.

You’re still missing part of my post:
1. activist groups are working to pay for peoples travel expenses AND
2. companies are paying their employees for travel.
Two different things.
You don’t have to be employed to get the funds from activists groups.
Come on, read the entire post. Maybe the bullet points will help you out.
But answer one of my initial questions: what were all the women in Mississippi doing for abortions before Dobbs? Mississippi is a big state. Where they also resorting to close hangers then because poor people couldn’t afford to travel to the lone abortion clinic in the state? Was that not a financial and resource burden on the poor folks of Mississippi? They can’t drive an extra hour or two to another state? This is silly.

Neither does an early stage abortion.
Your reading abilities unsurprisingly missed the rest of that sentence.

You stopped making real arguments a day ago when we pressed you to define your positions. It's fine to bow out. Acknowledged.

I read it. No person was harmed during this first trimester abortion.
The aforementioned “nontrivial fraction of the population” feels differently. You can not philosophize your way out of it for others, only for yourself. The others will vote as per how they feel.
All your points wouldn't matter if the Mississippi lawmakers would represent the opinions of their constituents.
Are you just ignoring my question regarding financial and travel burden when Mississippi only had one abortion clinic prior to Dobbs? If you don’t know the answer, that’s fine. I just find it odd that the possibility of needing to travel a bit father would dissuade so many people from an abortion if they were already having to travel a great distance anyway. Id rather drive an extra hour or two than ram a coat hanger into my uterus, since it seems those are the only two options that you’re allowing.

That’s their right to hold that opinion.
How is it different than banning blood transfusions because of Jehovah’s Witnesses or banning beef because of Hindus? The State isn’t making them take a transfusion or eat a steal but they also shouldn’t force those beliefs on everyone else. Do you disagree?

It’s already been burdensome. If you’re really interested, here’s the story of one teenager and her family

The state is the people, so whatever the majority of people want is good by definition, else I disagree. Like I said, you can keep trying to come up with analogy after analogy if they help clarify your thinking, but people want what they want. Unless the constitution says otherwise, in which case it just means that an even greater percentage of people have to want it for it to overrule the minority.
I expect you next to try to present hypothetical shock cases of what majorities might want, and I’ll calmly tell you that’s fine by me if that’s what most people really want. I trust “most people” more than any other principle.

Is the argument that things were already so bad for women in MS that the Roe overturn doesn't make it much worse, therefore it's ok? Interesting.
So a young girl made a stupid decision with an equally stupid boy. Explain why an immoral action to undo that decision shouldn’t be burdensome?
Immoral according to who?
Decent human beings.
You would think that if there was so much debate about when life begins that it would be safer to err on the side of caution but that would mean people taking responsibility
