Again, Biden is flawed. I actually thought you were going to go bring up the 8 women that accused him of inappropriate "touching." And yeah, while there is video of Biden behaving awkwardly in his interactions with some kids, what you are implying requires a rather large leap. Biden did Bork and Clarence Thomas wrong, no doubt. If this is your definition of a bad person, which is your right, then cool. I'd like you to then comment on Trump. How many people's reputations has he attempted to destroy just while he's in office? Just in the last year? Hell, just in the last week? How many women accused him of sexual harassment? Haven't we all heard Trump himself bragging about having the ability sexually assault women? Then, there are those (to use your words against you) "extremely awkward physical machinations" with (at the time) HIS YOUNG DAUGHTER.
If Biden is a bad person, then in your opinion Trump then must be the anti-christ, correct?
I am impressed with your honesty. Many of your fellow Dems/Libs here will never say one bad thing about anyone on the left. Especially posters like agip, Fat Hurts and others. They only are critical of conservatives. Flagpole - I have to applaud because he will condemn those on the left.
Trump is a POS. I won't dispute he is an awful person. I was watching this morning and I thought how ready I am to have him gone. But Biden really worries me not because he is a radical but because he is weak and the radical leftist groups will run roughshod over him until Kamala takes over. THEN ...we will see how radical the left can be. Won't be pretty.
You're confusing policies and behavior. There always have been and always will be shady and honorable politicians in both parties (recent Trump-enabling aside). Trump is thoroughly off the charts on behavior/shadiness.
Mostly, people of all stripes don't hate Trump because of policies. He's obviously not a principled conservative. They hate him because of his behavior. The lying, the abuse of office, the asking for political favors from the leader of a foreign country, taking Putin's word over our intel community's, mocking ALL POWs, the combination of doing so little for AND actively hurting the COVID mitigation efforts, etc., etc., etc.
No one in this country has any reason to believe that they're going to get even a tiny fraction of this behavior from any combination of Harris, Sanders, AOC, etc. Conservatives will fear their policies, sure. Nothing new there, on either side.
There are, crudely speaking, conservative/R policies. And there are liberal/D policies.
And then there is the horrible-in-so-many-ways behavior of Trump. They don't have much to do with each other. And it is, sorry, simply stupid to equate past/current/future D behavior to that of Trump's. NO ONE of any stripe comes within a light year of competing with the mountain of badness that is Trump. And no need to masochistically convince yourself that there is one or more current Democrats that does or will. It's good news, not bad, even for a conservative.
