No, I vote Democrat and always have. I did grassroots campaigning and door-knocking for Obama in 2008 and I would describe myself as center-left.

The 2020 results are similar to 2012:

2020: Biden 51.3% - Trump 46.9%

2012: Obama 51.1% - Romney 47.2%

What wasn't similar is that Romney graciously conceded and Trump has promoted conspiracy theories and incited his people to hate his opponents.

And Trumpers are blind followers.

I do think many quietly (and others loudly) like the racists angle.

And most have been sold on this fear of liberalism that will take their freedoms away.

I may be confusing you with someone else or you had a tepid response to some progressive agenda I was pushing (like free college or something).

I know Flagpole and agip are Democrats that like a lot of conservative policies.

Anyway, I don't see any regular posters here who are Republican that spoke out to at least have a different Republican nominee for 2020.

And that makes up the gap of Trump voters on top of those that are the deplorables who often did not vote at all in elections in the past.

Historically speaking (and since we all love to be pedants here) that's not really true although I suppose it depends on how you qualify the term "threat." The KPD was the largest communist party in Europe during the Wiemar Republic days and they were very closely aligned with Stalinists in the Soviet Union (and received funding from them as well).

Here's a local report on this video. It doesn't really add much, except it quotes a state lawmaker as being skeptical of it.

The thing with these videos is that they are promoted by right wingers who assert with great confidence that they show electoral fraud. Then someone eventually gets around to asking the actual electoral officials about the video, and they provide a reasonable, non-fraudulent explanation for what is seen (that's assuming the video isn't a fake). This was the case for a "smoking gun" video in GA that came out just a few days ago.

This was the right wing take on what the video showed:

When Watkins shared the video, he included this text: “Watch a Dominion Representative at Gwinnett County Election Central, responsible for tabulating ballots and certifying results, download data to a USB from the Election Management Server, plug it into a laptop, manipulate the data, then palm the USB.”

Sounds very sketchy and nefarious. However, this was what the video actually showed:

As for what the video shows him doing, the worker was conducting a routine check of the number of ballots that had been recounted, Sterling, the voting system implementation manager in Georgia, explained in a phone interview with FactCheck.org. He was using a USB drive to transfer a report about a recently counted batch of ballots to a computer equipped with a program to read it.

“This is just part of the recount process,” Sterling said, estimating that the procedure shown in the video might be done every hour or two.

This all just desperation by the losing side. They lost at the polls, then they lost in court. Their next step is to try and convince state legislators to ignore the vote and hand the election to the loser, ala Belarus or Venezuela.
