Good luck to Josh Jogs in barcelona this weekend. Sure he’d rather be running london but his lies caught up with him and his life ban from the event will forever be hilarious. Hes been trying to break 2:40 for 3 years. Can’t tell you for free it wont be happening this weekend either. And a reminder, Tommy Nepo Trees and Becky Boring Briggs supported him during and after his lies and pretended like nothing happened. Yet they both claim to be good for the sport? Funny as fock when Briggs plays the angel card on insta. This girl can etc etc. Dont think she’s friends with McCarthy anymore either. Perhaps because shes friend with her ex? I dont know
Hopefully Aubrey's recent cameos on the Running Channel don't become a permanent fixture
There couldn't be anything more boring than being a 6 star finisher. Well done you (most likely) paid an operator extortionate amounts to run 6 (or 7!) marathons. Great. Its a bit like climbing Everest.
Skimmed the video and the "Malawi stand up, Malawi stand up" bit is kind of embarrassing imo. Like you're just a relatively rich Brit, you've not really achieved anything other than having access to wealth and being inexplicably good at networking or having dirt on half the western running content industry or something.
Absolutely nobody in Malawi cares a jot about some guy running 4 hours at Tokyo, or having run slightly slower in other cities that they're never going to go visit
To be fair, the 35th best English footballer is probably someone like Jack Grealish and he is world famous, worth millions and has lots of sponsors. Yes it helps that he’s a lot more handsome than Fenton but still, there’s hope for him yet. His calves are probably nearly as defined.
If he wants to progress, he needs to do the following:
- Get a cooler haircut
- Go to Turkey for some new teeth
- Date a string of Love Island contestants
- After a key race get absolutely battered and create some funny content
Job done.
Fenton and his partner are so evenly matched, appearance and personality, that they seem like brother and sister. That said, I would enjoy the day that this tiny corner of internet fame spreads to Fenton thinking he should be pulling attractive women, love island contestant wannabe level - that sort of drama would bring me back to his channel.
Ease it up on jabs at peoples appearances, especially those who aren't even the runners. It's cheap.
Looks like Spencer and Allie got a paid trip to Italy as part of the launch of Diadora's new supershoe. Despite it being "Best supershoe I’ve worn" ($310 btw), Mr. Special could not break 15. Look forward for an overly dramatized video coming soon

Ok Mrs Fenton. It’s wild how quickly the comments come on here to defend Fenton’s gf about her appearance, no other person gets the same response. Despite a ton of comments about other people’s appearance on here. She’s also a YouTube personality btw, active in his videos But now - someone implies she’s not hot enough for Love Island and that gets backlash? Ridiculous.
But, whatever. Fenton is ugly. Full stop. I won’t comment on his Mrs.

Comments on appearance / hotness beyond just critiques of style and outfit are punches below the belt. If you do not understand this, you are a low IQ individual. Thank you for your attention to this matter!

247.endurance posted on Instagram about runfluencer Hugo Fry having a faster run split than Hayden Wilde.
Hayden then responds with "imagine being 50 minutes behind and running a different course"
Glad to see this nonsense being called out, t100s marketing focus on influencers and celebrities is awful, you had the Tommy Fury situation in Qatar with him skipping half the bike and the commentary team in London spent he entire race talking about Adam Peaty rather than the pro race.
Nope they are still 'Working on it' - its really difficult case of ... *Checks notes* ... The exact same thing he does 5 times a week to random people whose time is 1 minute different to a chip time.
There has to be some kind of pay off or affiliation to Ben Parker. The matcha and cinnamon bun running community finding out that Runna is literally founded on a scam would do irreversible damage to his brand as the run club final boss.
There’s no pay off they are just so far up all the runfluencers butts they can’t see the light. Busy calling out someone small for a 10 second 5k difference but would let the likes of Mary mc Carthy claim her 16:XX loop of the park. Certain profile they won’t touch as they wanna be accepted so bad. The fact they have set up paid tier versions of the page is crazy and shows they’re just a grifter too, it was never about integrity.
Pretty sure the marathon time guy is Callum from the motional podcast.

The post they shared where someone calls them out for verifying their 1:26 half is good. Hopefully they start getting more pushback on these weird antics. The schtick were they respond like an official body was funny at first but when someone pushes back and they're like oh it's a very important job verifying your 1:26 for transparency in the industry thanks for your attention on this is ignoring the big elephants in the room. Just post when big fish are being disingenuous and leave it at that.
Can't preach transparency if you're being pretty opaque with your "investigation" into Ben Parker imo

They have commented "verified" on his parkrun time, when parkrun isn't even a race 😅 and everyone knows there are certain parkruns that are less than 5k, make it make sense..
Saying so my main point is that on Instagram I can do and post whatever the fxxk I want on my profile about myself and everyone has the tools to check what is actual or not, the fact that someone self-proclaims themselves as an Instagram running inspector and starts monetizing from it is a no brainer. That page should shut down for good, in my opinion.
Agree. It's actually quite nasty I think. I don't follow enough people on Insta to know if they are specifically calling out large accounts or just total randoms (or both) but it smacks of bullying. Especially if it is just some random that they are then turning their freaky little fans on. Who bloody cares if someone posts a not strictly accurate time on insta. They can't use that to qualify for anything like Boston can they.
On their story at the moment they call someone out who put - "Strava time 1:29:45 (Chip Time 1:30:01) (i'm taking the strava time tyvm)"
They then drop a 500 word monologue explaining why strava time isn't as accurate in her comments and that she she has seriously lost all integrity.
This is despite the fact that she literally posted the chip time in the post and has just jokingly said that she will take the Strava time, which is a very normal thing for any runner to say.
The guy that runs the account is clearly just an insecure little freak that has no clue what they're talking about and is trying to pander to as many big runfluencers as they can for attention by 'verifying' them whilst ignoring the most obvious cases and nitpicking random 20 second differences (so you are right Goddard fits the bill perfectly)
Ben Felton posted his easy runs are getting faster. They are quicker than Callum Elson, Jonny Mellor and Jake Smiths easy runs...
What in the A12 run club, sports direct Donnay socks, coach victor, lactate taking in puregym is going on here?
He also seems to have given up on the bike/ cross training and he just back to running 100 mpw....
Goran did an interesting short video on cross training for runners recently, based on data/science papers - IIRC his finding was that cross training can be useful for maintaining fitness when injured, but if your body is ok and handling training load well then there nothing that beats more running to get better at running.
And sometimes the cross training might stress the body in a way that causes other niggles when you run, which Global Runner cross referenced this week.
Everyone remembers Parker Valby becoming world class as a runner off exceptionally low running mileage, but that doesn't mean cross training is the secret code for all runners to get faster - these outliers are often cross training because their body doesn't get on well with running high volume.
Fenton seems to be making strong progress last few months, and 100mpw doesn't sound too extreme for his level.
Hugo Fry's latest video showed him near the end waking up in a bit of a state, saying it was due to how hard his session had been the day before. That's a red flag for me, shouldn't be struggling to stay asleep for normal length of time, so I'm wondering if he's about to show signs of overtraining/increased risk of stress fracture or similar.
