Ruble is falling - lowest vs the dollar since april and the lowest after the invasion crater-and-rebound.
Ideal sitch is that RU knows it is running out of stuff to fire at UKR and is making one last Battle of the Bulge attempt to win the war with these missile barrages. Throwing every missile it has one last glorious time for the fatherland.
Markets seem to be saying that might be happening anyway.
Yep.
It has fallen back to where it was pre sanctions. $0.13 value in Jan and Feb of 2022 and $0.14 now. Peaked at $0.19 at end of June
Bore off Carmine.
You got proven an idiot over this last time, need to make it happen again?
Hahahha. So within 5 days??? You lost all credibility you silly twit. Long ago. You and your 3 other handles in this thread.
Right, Russia's plan was to encircle Kyiv within 5 days. They didn't They've been retreating ever since. Or, do you have evidence that Russian troops are knocking on the door of Lviv?
p.s. You never had any credibility to lose.
Hahhaa. You dont stop with the different handles?? Please show me where the Russians want to take Kiev? You believe everything that CNN and Colbert tell you? In reality they dont give a damn about Kiev. This was exactly the point why you have no credibility---its because you are so invested in believing such continual ridiculous propaganda.
1) Inflation above 15% for much of the year. GDP dropping in 2022 and 2023 (and probably 2024 as well). Gas prices dropping. Rouble tanking. Yup, things are great in The Motherland!
2) Ha ha ha. Right... I'm sure they airdropped 7,000 conscripts in Hostomel on the opening night of their invasion. What better weapons are they hoping to use? They have T-90Ms - their most advanced main battle tank - in Ukraine (they don't have enough T-14s to make a difference). They are using BMP-T Terminators (their most advanced AFV) in Ukraine. Are you waiting for them to pull from T-55s from the 1950s out of storage?
Wait, you're telling me that the Russians are destroying NATO weapons faster than they can be supplied. The Russians have complete air superiority. And, they've still lost ground since March? The Russians got routed in Kharkiv, fled Kherson, can't take Bakhmut, and are close to abandoning Kreminna AFTER destroying the entire Ukrainian army, all of Ukraine's weapons, and with complete air superiority. Is your point that Russians are cowards or idiots?
3) I'm for Ukraine. I call my congresspeople every day and tell them to send more weapons. If you think this is a BS NATO induced war, then you've spent too much time reading TASS. I'm glad to hear you're 1000% against me, because you sound like sub-human scum and I would be insulted to hear that we have a single thing in common.
Hahahahha. Hey, another one of your handles! Another post showing how dumbed down some people have gotten. And its incredible you actually believe this "news" information thats continually been proven wrong yet here you are, believing in same old crackhead propaganda and spouting nonsense for all the world to see how dumb you are. Yes, I certainly am 1000% against you because you filth have first worked for two years to force the entire population to inject themselves with a BS drug at the risk of losing their jobs, their livelihoods, one thats been proven to be all lies, and now you've turned your zombified minds to the next big thing to be outraged about and tell people what to think and do. However, you're done. Just know everything you spout out of that sphincter mouth of yours is viewed the same as from some foaming at the mouth insane asylum patient. You are the enemy and many of us know this now. You will never be forgiven.
I see you've resorted to personal attacks with no evidence to support your claims. But, please do provide evidence of Russia's strategic genius. I'll take any evidence that their "best" troops haven't been deployed to Ukraine yet. Or, that their "best" weapons haven't been used. Please, this should be easy for you to provide. Otherwise, you're just another pro-Kremlin troll who can't get the taste of Putin's jiZZ out of your mouth.

You may be surprised to find that some people can afford more than one device, don't you have a phone, a tablet, a laptop, and a desktop? I do.
Well, in on the first night of their invasion in 2022, they sent roughly 7,000 paratroopers to land at the Hostomel airport. This was a disaster, as some of the early transports were shot down and the remaining operating was aborted. At the same time, the 70,000 troops of the 35th Combined Arms Army (CAA) moved south from Belarus towards Kyiv with the intent to encircle the city and force Zelensky's government to surrender. If Zelensky did not surrender, Russia planned to use massed artillery on the city, as they did in the Chechen capital Grozny. Obviously, this also failed do to incompetent Russia logistics (they basically advanced as far as they could, needed to be refueled, the refueling was delayed, chaos ensued, they retreated). Of course, they've been unsuccessful in "demilitarizing" Ukraine, Russia has more Nazis than Ukraine ever did, and Russia has killed more civilians in Donbass in 10 months than died in the last 8 years.
Of course, Russia has LOST territory since March (despite the Ukrainian army being destroyed, all NATO weapons being destroyed, and Russia having complete air superiority). Or, has Russia actually advanced all the way to Lviv and CNN just hasn't told me?
So, please, provide evidence to dispute these claims.

Good. So we all agree that the Ruble has lost 20% of its value relative to the USD in the last 6 weeks, and shows an accelerating depreciation. At the same time, European LNG prices have dropped to pre-2022 levels - and (almost) none of it comes from Russia.

A big part of the ruble drop is no doubt stories like this - europe did indeed find a way to end dependence on RU oil. That was probably not expected, and might last beyond the end of this miserable war.
Nat Gas is a different matter though.
Germany rejected a claim that it plans to buy Russian oil early next year, saying that it will instead import crude oil from Kazakhstan. Europe’s largest economy has said previously that it plans to halt imports of Russian crude by the end of this year after the Kremlin’s invasion of Ukraine, but that was thrown into doubt when the chief executive officer of Russia’s oil pipeline operator said it had received requests for Russian crude supplies in the first quarter of 2023. German refineries Leuna and Schwedt have historically been heavily dependent on piped Russian oil imports. Now flows along the Druzhba pipeline - Europe’s largest crude oil conduit - will be from Kazakhstan instead, though that agreement hasn’t been finalized yet. “Reports that Germany had ordered Russian crude oil are false,” a spokeswoman for the economy ministry said. “The mineral oil companies at the Leuna and Schwedt refineries will no longer be ordering Russian crude oil in the new year.”
"Russia has LOST territory since March" except for the gains they initiated in March, which they still control.
Well done, too stupid.
What are you even trying to say? Take the amount of territory that Russia controlled in March in square kilometers. Today, they control a smaller amount. Week-by-week they control less territory. Maybe you'll understand if I put it in Kremlin-speak: "Russian forces advanced towards Moscow."
Or, do you believe that Russia still controls most of Kharkiv Oblast and Kherson?
As you yourself pointed out, no one loves communist China right now more than Vladimir Putin. Go to bed, you delirious child.
Lol. It has been obvious to everyone that no one likes communist China than you confused brainwashed lefties. You dont stop your support and investment in China and even use their govt as a model to copy. Wretched little soul
After Putin and Xi had a video meeting on Friday:
The Russian leader described relations between the two nations as “the best in history,” saying they could “withstand all tests,” and invited Xi to visit Moscow in the spring of 2023. “We share the same views on the causes, course and logic of the ongoing transformation of the global geopolitical landscape,” Putin said.
Sounds like a couple of star-crossed lovebirds to me. Once again wrong about everything, carmine69, you are the biggest possible fool coming into 2023; you love your genocidal Asian dictators so much, make sure you give Xi the sloppy seconds after you slobber Putin's pole.
