Yep. Sally is a dumb@ss and HAS resorted to mostly trolling now. He really was NOT mostly doing that before the election.

And, of course he is wrong again.

1) I don't live in Cleveland...not that it would be that bad other than more snow which I hate, but Cleveland has some very wealthy and nice areas.

2) I'm not a contractor. I own my own business and work as a Business Consultant for manufacturing companies. I currently have just 7 clients, one of which provides half my income. I will be done working with them sometime in 2021, and then I don't plan to continue with them, so my hours of working per week will go from 30 to ~15. I was in a position to retire financially when the Dow hit 20,000. It's insane what has happened to my investments since then. My wife is a college professor and wants to work for at least 6 more years. She took 15 years off from working when the kids were younger, so she has said I can retire anytime I wish; and yes, I do consult her on things like that. Maybe in 3 years I will stop with all my clients.

3) My last two cars were new (a Honda CRV, and a Kia Soul). Before that, yes, I bought used cars. My stance on new cars is that you should not buy one until you have ZERO debt, own your own home outright and have a net worth of at least a million dollars (I borrowed those guidelines from Dave Ramsey, and I think they are solid). I broke my own guideline when buying the Honda as I didn't own the house outright then, but I was close to owning the house outright then. Gotta get what you want SOMETIMES.

4) Melania is not a supermodel and never has been, and my wife is better than her in all ways.

5) As you said, Trump is in big legal trouble and is very likely going to prison unless he dies first. He's filed for bankruptcy 6 times, failed at marriage, is seen as a loser worldwide. I wouldn't trade places with that stupid orange f*cker for anything.

Setting aside for a moment the fact that at least some of those measures won't be enacted under Biden (the "no fracking" thing has been debunked ad nauseum), aren't those measures very similar to if not exactly the same as measures that were enacted under Obama, when the DJIA rose well over 100%?

I don't want him done and gone in the sense that the GOP has accumulated some bad karma and he needs to wreck them on his way down. So far they have benefitted in the short term. I want him to launch his 2024 run and get completely destroyed by prosecutions, making him ineligible while leaving a massive and unfixable hole in the GOP. I want him to endorse his idiot children for big seats too and I want them to get clobbered in their elections. We need to see this family and the GOP lose it all. With that said I will take it if it's in the cards to dish out some destructive punishment for him right away.

The US President has next to nothing to do with the performance of the stock market. The market as a whole goes up ~27% of the time, and that will happen forever or until there is a MASSIVE paradigm shift.

Put money in the market in diversified mutual funds made up of stocks. Do as much as you can in good years and bad with 15% of your income as the minimum target. Consistently and without fail. You can't time the market, so to try is foolish. IF the market drops a lot and you don't change your normal amount of investing, and you WANT to put in extra then, then that's not a horrible idea, but timing the market involves waiting for the right time to get in or out...do not do that. You get IN when you have an income, and you get out over time when you are retired and take it as income.

Trump will be gone and done. Populism and its candidates do not last beyond one election cycle. He can not re-create the passion people had for him. It is waning already. I have no idea who the 2024 GOP candidate will be, but it won't be Trump or ANY Trump.

So, it's ALREADY down to 66% who would like to see him run again. That will be 50% on inauguration day, and then it will drop from there as it becomes more and more clear what a loser he is. I see the fact that ONLY 66% want him to run again as a great thing. Americans like winners. Trump set himself up to be even more adversely affected by losing than most.

Just more proof of how stupid he is. He's missing a huge opportunity to take advantage of the mouth breathers while they are still super angry. He can't even play his own game well. He should have been pumping the bs himself on live tv every single day since election... putting the pressure on on the GOP and focusing the base's anger at them for not helping him. And even before inauguration, announce he is creating a new party altogether and start asking people to register and leave the GOP. Instead he is showing just how much of a coward and thin skinned punk he is.
