In his latest video, Fordy Runs can’t work out how he missed out on a sub 40 10k in central London when his watch told him he was on pace. The man is a qualified running coach apparently.
Farcical really did he not check when he went past the kilometer markers
After 572 pages of this thread, I have watched at least one episode of most of these names, but have yet to watch a single “Donato” or “Fordy Runs” video. I’n mainly here for RTJ, Fenton, Cole (all of whom I enjoy) and some Floberg hate-watching.
Any suggested Donato / Fordy episodes for someone new to the lore?
Honestly any Fordy video will be enough, he's like the pied piper of mediocrity - managed to build this mental cult in the UK of crap runners who worship him like the second coming of Kipchoge.
The amount of Fordy Runs t-shirts you'll see at local hobby jogger races is mental
Nine months since Goran Winblad told us "This Smart Home Gym Machine Changed How I Train"
He's injured again and I just noticed him using his squat rack. I've literally never seen him touch this magnetic resistance machine since he got it, he just steps over it to get to his treadmill.
Nothing against Goran, I really like his videos but I'd love to hear him tell us how many times he's used it since last year
Another level to Fenton for sure but RTJ marathon PB remains significantly better and he is a lot more charismatic.
To the point of charisma: I think Cole and RTJ are both their genuine selves on their channels. Jake is exciting and goofy, and it’s great. Similarly, Cole seems to be his own dry and introverted self. I much prefer that than him putting on some fake shtick. I like his stuff.
I'm on board with this. You could tell he was getting a little bored of the marathon focus given his track record, and it is interesting to see a runfluencer not focus solely on the full. Not quite sure on the insistence of elite times though...

Feel like HM/10k content is better in general. More interesting workouts, more frequent races.

Check out Fordy’s recent videos on strength training, where he just spams a load of exercises with truly awful form and gets rinsed in the comments for it. Then claims he isn’t a PT so it doesn’t matter, like “certified running coaches” shouldn’t be expected to have any knowledge of strength work.
Might be split opinions here but around 6 mins into Fentons video he calls a car driver a plonker for passing him on a bend, whilst he's running at like 10mph in the middle of the road.

What a weapon.
oh man I read it as the driver calling him a plonker as they drove around him and thought "wow self aware joke", but your interpretation is probably correct. that road looked way to busy to be running on :/

I also read it as the driver, correctly, calling him a "Plonker". He's running way too far into the middle of the road and causes two cars to pass each other very tightly on a corner.
Personally, I'd have gone with "Wanker", "Knobhead", "Baldy", "Speccy" or a combination of all of the above.
