People acknowledge that Bekele has a superior record and ability, although that doesn't change the fact that Mottram won, petty name calling and refering to Mottram as 2nd class won't change that I'm afraid mesfin. In my book, beating Bekele = top class.

i have the right to forward my own opnion. do not get mad.
it is obvious that mottram is second class runner. i can tell you that there are ethiopian and kenyan atheletes who can beat him convincingly ( isaac, choge, tariku,soi abreham feleke you name it..........)let alone bekele.
so please do not talk to much as mottram won once in a blue moon

Don't get me wrong Bekele is a great runner, he's just not the best racer
I agree that Kenenisa is a an incredible athlete; however, he isn't the best racer in regards to the 5000m. That may also contribute to his long race scheudule but I have to disagree if Craig and Kenenisa raced 100 times I think Craig would find a way to win about 10% (10 of the 100). Craig in my opinion is a great talent and maybe that should point out what I've been saying about Augustine Choge (who easily beat Craig in a fast race at the 2006 Commonwealth Games). I look for all three to post many more impressive performances in the next few years.
If Kenenisa ever figures out what he needs to do with his superior endurance in the 5000m, watch out world! Its not that simple race the distance sparringly but when he do make the 5000m a time trial or close to it.

kenenissa was not injured this year. and there were no major championships too. so why did he underperform this season? with underperform i am meaning that he didn`t come close to his 5/10K times of last year and he lost to songok, lagat and now to a "second class runner" (Mesfin).

What do you think about Tariku Bekele this season? I think he is awesome. First of all, he should have been picked instead of the Kenyan and in my view, he could have beaten Shaheen.
Tariku is so fit right now that he can easily beat his long time nemesis Augustine. If he stays that way, he should be able to win many races as well as running well at the Olympics.
