Nah, not really--only for a week or two, and only in their own (very lofty) terms. I really don't expect any other UAA team to give the Wash women much trouble, and it'll be interesting to see whether WUStL can underscore the rest of the conference combined. Maybe not, but I bet it'll be fairly close.
My earlier remark was a humorous (allegedly) way of suggesting that in fact there's no way Wash U loses the women's meet. (Maybe that's more obvious to me than to others...)
Women predictions for SUNYAC's? Indvidual/team??
Sandra Goettleman ftw...
Geneseo
Brockort
Cortland
Oneonta
Plattsburgh
New paltx
Jenny from platts for the win.... obviously. Have you seen her times this year compared to anyone else?
Alyssa smith is the top returning runner. Why can't she win? Is it just me or should geneseo be the best team in the country with the womens talent that they have. Sandra, Alyssa and Liz should be able to win this meet, as well as their top freshman, but none of them are favored over plattsburghs girl. This womens team is so talented but SLU can light them up.
well, all u gotta do is look at her(jenny's) times from this year and it is easy to say she has the "best" chance to be the winner... montgomery, smith, and sandra havnt ran those times. that is all.
Geneseo destroys Cortland at Sunyacs.
Scores, details?
Maher wins UAA handily. No idea on Team Scores
Just confirmed via twitter that Geneseo wins both men and women.
Any results from Toga?
any more results from sunyacs yet?
I'm hearing Fredonia and Oneonta may have beaten Platts
NYU WINS UAAs with 41pts...Emory and Case Western tied for 2nd with i think 67pts....Very Very wet and sloppy. Maher won by 13secs in 26:06
Geneseo men wins handedly over Cortland at SUNYACS. Lee Burubee ran away from everyone in the last mile for the win. Sandra G. of Geneseo individual winner for the women with Geneseo also winning for the women. Can Geneseo men's team win nationals? By the way, Geneseo put 8 in front of Cortland's 5 on the men's side.
where are those results???
For the Mens side:
Geneseo
Cortland
Fredonia
Oneonta
Plattsburgh
And I was told there was only 3 points between platts and oneonta, but a lot between fredonia and oneonta.
Berube is a baller. Celebrating his victory over a mile from the finish. straight up (suny) g
Toga anyone?
