Drake men’s distance has been pretty good for awhile - Brogan Austin, Reed Fischer, Adam Fogg, Isaac Basten - guys good enough to qualify for NCAA Cross as individuals. The departure of Jay Koloseus to Arizona was a bad sign. As an Iowa State fan this bums me out because Drake men’s distance runners have been pretty much the only guys who can push the Iowa State men at indoor meets in Ames. The times they are a changin’, and not for the better.
