I think he ran 1609.34 K, if you are fine with all the lane violations and what we couldn't see on the weird camera angles and the illegal pacing.
This whole operation was very unprofessional. Most 5k's have better time keeping and all 12/24 hour races have web links where you see all runners at real time crossing mats and gaining laps, with accurate counts at all times.
But it doesn't matter, this charity run will not count for anything, unfortunately.
...with 15-20 people just working for him and 1-2 illegal pacers most of the time.
What I learned from this is, that we all would have done much better with this kind of treatment.
But hey, it was for the "Homeless".
Don't forget what went on in the medical tent. To me that had the most effect.
While it is possible and people do go in energy cycles, much of what I saw the last several days did not look like how most people fare. Including doing 75 miles in the last 19 hours.

When he doesn't keep the WR pace, he's a joke of a human and underprepared. When he does better than you thought and doesn't completely implode, he's juicing. Story of this thread

And the missed laps, and the 4hr master laps that came out as 2hrs etc, things actually seen on the stream by someone just checking in now and then..
...but on the ABC News now, "he finishes 1600km inside 2 weeks", as if that was the goal all the time. No comparison of where that places him, even if legit. You wouldn't highlight a marathon WR attempt with " Finishes inside 2:30", but hey this is the Tiktok age and nevermind his personal fame and wealth he'll get, "he did it for the homeless"......The end justifies the means.

That's fairly hyperbolic. I wouldn't say he is a joke; there is room for all of us to do what we like. The guy never had a chance to get Kouros. I'd say he was both underprepared and he juiced.
Lack of transparency and other tactics we can all see add up to a consistent picture. You noticed no corporates signed on? Wonder why.

Just checked in briefly this morning to them chatting on tiktok, still the baiting of corporates who have 'doubled down', i.e. refused/ignored demands for donations. Much like a charity guy beating on your door demading you sign up , quite ugly actually whatever the means and whatever the achievement.
Yeah sure you buddy. Lots of tall poppy syndrome around here, unless you've attempted the 1000 miles you should probably move on.
Once did more than 100miles in training per week for months, whilst holding a professional job, with wife and little kids and normal domestic and parent duties...does that count? Can you recommend a charity than I can open a open a Go Fund Me for, or is it too late?
Good job you have a hobby like most adults assuming that took you 16 or so hours so you spent little over 2 hours a day on your hobby? So have you done 1000miles in a row or what?

Believe what you will; I've had a good career professionally and in running.
If you have tried 1,000 miles lets hear about your expertise. If not many of us have likely done a lot more than you. I've been doing 100+ mile runs consistently for over 25 years. So I can say a few things about how they work and am familiar with what is off when I see it.

It was in a row several times over, my breaks were just a littel longer than Nedd's. What's the difference? The point I am making is that , not being in a race, he could choose his own timetable. And my hobby resulted in some actual podium placings at national level, so yeah, worthwhile hobby if that's what you call it
There are blokes running with some app every street in every suburb, I would imagine they have many 1,000s of miles with breaks too. Just pointing out the ad hoc nature, then claiming some sort of achievement that many others have doen in racing conditions.

You are just jealous that Nedd is way more popular than you. Even though both you and Nedd are foul-mouthed, Nedd has something you don't: Charisma. That's how Nedd has a huge fanbase while you have the haterz in this thread.
