Looks like Jesuit’s usual number 7 Ryan Tait has bombed horrendously- from 7th to 10-11 on Jesuit. Looks like they still have a solid line up of Ogilvie, Abbott, Jakary, Hoferer, Kadel, Cressman, and Alberts. Can this line up win state and go to NxN?

Tait was not going to be #7 if the 7 you listed are heathy. Based on track last year, #10 is about right. Also yes, they could be one of the 2 Cal teams to go to NXN.

He ran a 16:08 at Clovis and was their #6 there. He stepped up a lot from track season

Yes, but given that, I still had 9 guys projected to beat that. Isaac Abbott,Drake Hoferer,Matthew Ogilvie,Chase Cressman,Navin Kadel,Lucas Alberts,Kyle Jakary,Rafael Jopson,Brady Blum. Nothing works out exactly as projected, and I would agree that his last couple of races after Clovis haven't been as good, but that is basically irrelevant to me in terms of Jesuit making NXN. If they are healthy at state, even without Tait, they will have 7 runners who can go sub 16.

A correction, although also irrelevant since I see Blum is not on the roster this year, but I did have him projected higher than Tait at season start, but I didn't have him projected to run 16:08. Regardless, Jesuit should have a really strong top 7.
Really great showing for Woodbridge, their boys seemed to fall apart in a few past races but they seemed to have a good comeback. Most notably, inban kathiravan, their 3rd runner, was their 5th runner at Mt sac in 16:57, which is definitely much worse than what his pr's suggest.
Mira Costa and redondo were pretty tight here, good front pack by Mira Costa to beat it out. Both teams looked really strong, but I'm concerned about redondo's Adam divinity since he really hasn't been in the same shape as his junior season. If he can get into that shape again, I think redondo may be able to beat Mira Costa in the future.
I think we’re also forgetting to note Ian Hansen. Atleast in track, Ian Hansen was right up there with Parker Stickney and Owen Franck. We didn’t even see Hansen for this whole season (or at least not in the way his track results showed us), but he won league and was #1 for Mira Costa. I want to see how Ian Hansen will perform in xc- will he come out of nowhere like Franck or is he going to be a lil inconsistent?
love hearing about collegiate sports from a guy who's teammates celebrated when he left the Stanford team
sounds like a horrible team to be part of. I am always on the side of the minority when I hear about how badly the majority act "celebrating when a teammate leaves."
